And so like for example we go we use a website called up Work dot com Ok And so you go to of work and you'll see where people be asking for various stories and so like we are up there looking for somebody who is very fluent in consumer tech and maybe they know a lot about security and privacy or what's going on with the newest i Phone you kind of get my chest right. But there are also people that are looking for writers to maybe uncover a trend on Instagram or a family that's traveling around the world and on a sailboat and how they're interacting and and what their story is you may find somebody who's looking for a freelance writer to write an autobiography. And so so that the days of usually working for a newspaper as a correspondence bits pretty hard to get those gigs anymore because of what's called the gig economy because there are so many people now that are willing to work on a per article basis not even a perdiem basis we have freelance podcast writers and the crew has pod cast writers are really interesting to me is that you know that they'll actually go out and do all the interviews and they'll put together the podcast and then we bring it all back here and we maybe do some more interviews and but it really lessens the load of having to have a full time employee because you that job doesn't justify a full time employee and so as you mention with newspapers going under because people don't buy the papers anymore there's no more advertising to support it really except for sites now and that's why the sites are starting to charge like the New York Times and even a lot of the connect sites. That you now have to look at and all teary or place in order to find these gigs and I think you'd like over at dot com And as far as you know maybe some other places you might want to look at their place the you can write. You know scripts and short stories and. I mentioned autobiographies and biographies but I that would be the 1st place for for you to check in when you start looking at freelance writers 0 in on what you're really interested in doing at this point. And how much time you're willing to dedicate to it and then once you see the job is that you actually say yes I'm interested and they probably will.
