In an affidavit obtained by abc 7 news, he waived his right to a lawyer and told police, quote, he felt google was watching him and that made him upset. He also reportedly told cops, quote, he kept journals of the times that he felt google had been watching him. Three separate incidents at three separate google buildings are being investigated by the bureau of alcohol, tobacco and firearms. First on may 19th when there was a fire near a google street vehicle where an employ claims to have seen a man throw molotov cocktails at the car and a small fire started nearby but didnt torch the vehicle. June 4th, shots fired in a google building. Broken glass and projectiles were found in the windows. June 10th, a selfdriving car was found on fire. The vehicle was destroyed. Fast forward to last week on june 30th when diaz spoke to police. That is when he gave them the statements about his fear of google watching him. Reporter in the last hour the Mayors Office issued a statement saying they were successful in stopping Violent Crime in oakland last night but not successful in stopping illegal fireworks. And some of the fireworks in oakland looked more elaborate than pier 39 and those were all illegal. It is crazy last night.
