Our news partner report the guard is accused of beating an inmate so badly it left him permanently disfigured. The beating happened july 23rd of last year, about a month before another inmate was killed. Three officers have been charged with murder in that case. He is smiling and holding his badge, which was returned to him yesterday morning. A man stabbed him in the neck tuesday morning. You will have to check that out. But things are changing. As you wake up a ridge of High Pressure is beginning to build into the bay area and that, of course, will deflect the storms to the north. With it we will have a dry air mass and an offshore flow that really is going to get going and bring some of the warmest temperatures weve seen in three or four months. So live doppler hd showing a few patches of clouds around the bay. And the visibility here anywhere from three miles Half Moon Bay in petaluma to four miles in livermore. Concord, you have been improving the past hour but still a little haze out there. As we look outside, this is a shot from our east bay camera. And certainly dark out there. Temperatures ranging from the low 40s in morgan hill. 44 san jose, mountain view, 45 Half Moon Bay with 50 downtown. From the east bay hills camera we look for the winds to shift around to easterly component and monday being the warmest day for most neighborhoods. Still tuesday holding on to 70s around the bay. 36 in fairfield. Looking at temperatures in the upper 30s livermore, concord 60 and santa rosa at 39. So we will look for the warmup today after the sun comes to up. It will take some time to get going, but the spring like temperatures of course sticking around for the big game tomorrow and the warm pattern into early next week. Records will be possible into monday. Maybe even tuesday. But we do have some high waves and the surf to contend with. With the swells anywhere from 7 to 10 feet. Pretty dangerous from sonoma all the way down to point reyes. Ocean beach, montara, Half Moon Bay, and all the way down there at monterey with the current wave heights 8 feet. Half moon bay particularly dangerous and ocean beach. So really stay away from the coastline. Patchy fog and full sunshine today. Really for the next several days as High Pressure brings temperatures into some record territory. Lets start out with monday where San Francisco could see a high of 74 to break a record. Oakland would need 77. You can see these numbers just a little shy of that. But san jose looks to likely break a record. The tuesday still upper 70s and san jose. Richmond upper 60s. A little cooling into tuesday, but still most areas anywhere from 8 to 10 degrees above average by wednesday. Notice the 60s with the on shore push returning so that will keep the coastline a little cooler. But nothing significant cooling until we get to the end of the week. And thats when perhaps we could see a weak storm system. But this is santa clara, san jose where temperatures will stay warm for the next four to five days. And then see that decline. So in super bowl city today look for highs in the low 60s by 2 00. Upper 50s by 6 00 and cool 10 00, starry night, 55 degrees. Elsewhere around the bay look for 64 half moon day, santa rosa 68. Livermore 68, as well as oakland and for the game tomorrow you heard about it, im sure, 73 degrees with warm conditions. The accuweather sevenday forecast featuring spring like sun shine day after day the temperatures will start that slide tuesday into wednesday. We also, like i said, a lot of the passengers do work on flights. We have the pullout trace. They can set up their computers. The plane was wifi, satellite radio, electrical outlets. Headsets for the passenger if they need a little bit more quieter inside. Not unlike the ones the pilot wears. The cockpit stays open because they are not just here to fly, they are here to take care of the customer. Theres no coach class on this plane . No, all first class.
