The San Francisco protest is matched by similar events today around the globe. In Foster County supporters are rallying around a bay area gay couple who said they were kicked out of a mall for kissing and Holding Hands. Abc News Reporter lee has the story. There wasnt much kissing happening at a protest called a kissin, but there was still plenty. Love and support displayed by both homosexuals and heterosexual individuals at the galleria mall. Im not gay myself but that doesnt matter. Im here to support because its love. The event quickly organized on social media after a young gay couple said they were asked to leave the mall monday for kissing and Holding Hands in public. The management said they were not asked to leave but were to asked to stop explicitly sexual conduct. They didnt elaborate what the activity was. Not engine here believes their statement. I dont know the reason form escorting them out of the building. It look them a long time to come out and apologize. The couple said they dealt with their own challenges living in roseville but dont believe the malls management is to blame for the incident. We have a 14yearold that dealt with a lot of bullying because he has gay dads. We werent surprised it if happened n this situation it probably wasnt the malls management that was involved, i think there was maybe one guard or one employee that decided to take it upon himself to assert more authority. I think the temperament of the community, if anything, is too much. People dont want their kids to see People Like Us expressing affection in any way. I think its exposing children to a very, various things, whether its sexual preference or not. I think its fine. Other Mall Shoppers came out to take a look. Its pretty cool. I was just here shopping and i heard about the story. Pretty crazy. Mall management was not on hand for that protest yesterday, but did supply snacks and drinks for the demonstrators. Today a free festival is being held in San Francisco to celebrate the exploratoriums move to pier 15. There ares ten trucks loaded with museum exhibits and experiences that will travel to three sites in the city today. They are the embarcadero outside pier15 from and they will visit the opera House Theater and in the mission district. Those two activities are from 11 00 a. M. To 4 00 p. M. Abc7 is excited to be the official tv parter of the exploratorium, San Franciscos historic handson museum. Exploratorium, you might know, shut its doors in january. Now the staff is racing to get ready for opening at the new building april 17th. Over the next few weeks we will bring you exclusive abc news settle and our first look at the exploratorium here on abc7 news. To morning reports dcan ashley shows you what it takes to move a museum. Heres a puzzle for you. You have all these exhibits and back rooms crammed with stuff that might some day come in handy. How many people, trucks and hours will it take to move to a new museum . Add in the fact that your new building is a historic pier undergoing toptobottom renovation and its not quite finished. When you are ready to give up, call valerie, a moving expert. I am. I know its a funny job, isnt it . Valerie and the moving team determined they will could move 60 exhibits a day. Then they factored in packing time, thousands of feet of plastic wrap, carts, blankets and some serious labeling skills to make sure everything i ended up in the right place. The choreographing of the exhibits to work with the construction completion. The final answer, it took the thousand man hours and 200 truckloads to move the museum in two months. And mixed in were special challenges, including huge piece of a 250yearold tree and a giant wind harp that used to make music. When we built the harp it was well above treeline but over the last 20 years the others have grown up and blocked the wind. This is the roof access. This is not suitable for holding down a harp so they brought in a crane to do the job. It took a while to get the harp lose. Suddenly it was cruising through the air, getting a last look over crissy field before it ends up at its new home where the harp will be set up once again to catch the wind. Another challenge came from this tornado exhibit. Its a longtime visitor favorite, but its finicky. It arrived in pieces. Peter is the man who has to make it work. But first they have to make sure it will fit with the top section tucked in between the pipes in the ceiling. Can anyone get a view, a visual on like how close . Its too close. The 18foot exhibit is a little too tall for the space. We have to get creative. After many hours of assembling, moving and kitting, the exhibit is finally in its proper position. Now they have to get the tornado to form. The vapor is made by an ultrasonic transdeucer in the bottom of the exhibit. Water droplets remain suspended like a gas. Vapor looks like steam but its not hot. Once the vapor is rising the team has to figure out where to place big, plexiglass panels to force tharily currents to form a tornado shape. This could take hours of moving and testing. They will know it will work. It will take more time to make it consistent. Thats good one and its lasting. Abc7 news. And by doing so they will receive an extra insurance policy. Nearly every credit card comes with rental Car Insurance. I use capital one. You use capital one . Is it a mastercard . Yes, it is. Okay. Mastercard will generally pay your deductible of any accident you have. Nice. Coverage can be limited, but it can make a difference. One day i pulled out the car charger and it hit the windshield and broke the windshield. That cost a lot of money. Really . In a rental dar . Yep . Who paid for that. I did. She probably didnt have to. That was a mishap that would have been covered by nearly any credit card. Do you know that your credit card offers rental Car Insurance . No, i didnt know that. It does. So from now on make sure you use it. Okay. In fact, that extra protection can make getting into a wreck while driving a rental car less expensive than getting into a wreck while driving your own vehicle. Why . That rental Car Insurance coverage doesnt kick in unless you are renting a car. Rosemary clancy is with creditland. Com. Thats the beauty of having a cell card. With your automobile insurance you have a deductible of 1,000 and you are liable for that if you dont have supplementary coverage that is supplied by your credit card. Its a good deal but it doesnt cover everything. If you rent an exotic car the credit card insurance doesnt pay. If up rent a truck or even some suvs the credit card insurance doesnt kick in. In nearly every case if you will buy the insurance offered by. Rental card company the credit card insurance wont pay. Even when using a credit card when you are out of the country, each card in each country is different. You really need to check it out. And always buy the car Company Coverage in italy and ireland.
