Developing news out of fairfield this morning. Two people are dead after a threecar accident on northbound 680 last night at gold hill road. The chp said a jeep was speeding when it collided with a town car, which caused a Chain Reaction and then hit a toyota. The force of the collisions trapped the two people inside the town car. It burst into flames. The other two drivers are in stable condition. Officers believe drugs or alcohol could be to blame. Authorities have arrested this man, carle diale junior of setting a mosque on fire. He burglarized a building on friday. Witnesses say a fire bomb was thrown at the mosques front door. They described hearing a loud boom before seeing flames. Firefighters contained the flames to the buildings front lobby. Several people inside escaped unharmed. Sadness, actually. Its a family place. With the wet ground we could see some problems. Perhaps a tree down, some limbs and Power Outages as point reyes sees 40 Miles Per Hour gusts. Sfo and airport weather warning throughout the day. Had 4 Miles Per Hour wind gusts. Each as the front pushes be through we still have the wind gusts. This will be with us throughout the day as the rain continues to push south and east. Our storm impact scale with the wet and windy weather. This is a moderate one at number 2. As we go through the Morning Hours, its the north bay right now at 8 00 that has the heaviest rain. Through 9 00 the leading edge is pushing into the east bay and San Francisco. But hold on. The far east bay it will take another hour and into the south bay, as well. So san jose and santa clara, you are just getting going at 10 00, 11 00. It will take you through the later Morning Hours and the early afternoon for the front to exit. It continues to press southward through monterey and big sur. We are looking at the scattered showers, the breaks in the clouds here and the possibility of maybe a thunderstorm. But rainfall, it looks pretty decent. About a halfinch for everyone. Higher elevations of the north bay could see upwards of an inch. And the Sierra Nevada snowfall gets going at about 10 00. Thats when we will have the gusty winds and snow really piling up through late tonight and early tomorrow from a foot to foot and a half. Rain first, and then snow. Temperatures probably a little warmer than they will be today on this panel. I think i will bring down the numbers a little bit. Should be mid50s. The south exits the south bay by about noon or 1 00 but we still have the gusty winds all day long. Those will bring in the cold mornings monday and tuesday. Sunny averages. Only in the 50s, though. And as the clouds gather and thicken by next week we have more rain to look forward to. So this one obviously a cold one and thats good for the mountains. You said you are going to bring it on down .
