Many bay area transplants here in the city and not just in the city, but i mean people come, you know, from jersey, people come from long island, people come from its really is amazing just to be around people from the same area. We had no idea that there were that many bay area fans. Our first 49er game, we had about 60 people and we were stunned. I have never seen such a Passionate Fan base being so powerful so far away from their home and you really get to see it here at affinities. People look up and they see the giant niner logo and they refuse to walk in the bar simply because of our affiliation with the niners. But i get a kick out of it. Im sure one day when theres three people here on a saturday night, i might see caution in it. We chose our loyalty and we stick with it. helicopter whirring roars siren wails pop music playing when youre ready ready, ready, ready come and get it get it, get it when youre ready, come and get it na na na na na na na na na na na when youre ready, come and get it na na na na. Female announcer its a great big world and it can all be yours. Here and only here. Come and get it. Right here in San Francisco. Whether its helping local businesses like the fruitguys grow and prosper, supporting nonprofits like juma ventures as they fulfill their mission or helping neighborhoods like the tenderloin become vibrant communities. If theres a way to help the people of San Francisco thrive and succeed, well find it. Thats the power of local connections. Thats bank of america. I heard about finnertys right after i became to new york. Right away, people told me about this bar. Its pretty neat to hear people talking about the bar. They just walk in, they look around and you know, its i know that its a feeling that no other bar has the pleasure of giving to their patrons like we do here. And thats really been the joy of all of them and the reward. For more than five years, finnertys has been a haven for those who love the bay area. It provides a friendly smile and an open seat to all who call themselves faithful. This bar couldnt be anywhere else. Theres so many transplants from all over the country, its a place where you can have a bar for every team and you need to because theres no point in having, you know, 40 new york giants bars, or 40 new york jets bars, you have to have a bar from every team because there are just as many bars across the country as there are people in new york now. Were all sharing one goal and has rooting on niners, niners only. I dont want to go to some sports bar and theres 12 games on and i have to sit and theres no audio. This volume is up, baby. I think theres something unique about San Francisco sports fan is their love of their teams but their understanding of the game beyond just a kind of crazy sports fan, they understand it, they understand whats going on and coming from a self proclaimed die hard sports fan, its great to have incredible conversations about the depth of our teams or the moves we should make. If anybody has deep pockets, if we can put money into finnertys all over, tll there be niners fans all over coming to a kbar like this. In 2012, a new tradition began, instead of grabbing a comfortable seat. They traded their bar stools in for a business ticket. They would love to go, they would love to go. We researched it, we called the jets and we were to pull off four bus loads of people. There was a huge presence of 49ers fans, not just our game bus, but if you see pictures of that game, there was easily half 49ers fans at that game. We all ate very well. We had our own little parade going into the stadium. We went in and watched the niners beat up on the jets. A 49er touch down. Its a wonderful time, they come back with stories to tell and its something we hope to keep doing in the future. One thing that you cannot replace that we have here and one of the main reasons that we have been able to do what we have been doing is because of the quality of the people of the bay area. I will take a San Francisco fan over any other fan any other day of the week, i think they really appreciate that their team is doing well, they dont take it for granted. And every week theyre holding their breath thinking we have to keep this momentum going. Whether or not we could have pulled this off with any other city, i seriously question whether we would have been able to do that. This is our bar, this is a kbar that we built. We worked very, very hard, wire very proud of it. We put our hearts and souls into it. So much of this has been out of your hands, its been luck, how much of it did you make happen and on top of that, you can say you built the setting, but how much of that is the success of the team and how much of that is our hard work.
