It happened near city college in San Francisco. Police say when they arrived the child was in Critical Condition tut the 7yearold died at the hospital. The driver is cooperating with aolice. It cal tran to blame, they are accusing a worker of cutting up tents of the homeless. Robert. Reporter were here along highway 280 in san jose. This is where the homeless encampment today before a vil e violent eviction. There isnt much left but residents and homeless advocates say there should have been. They say on june 23rd the Highway Patrol came to post a 72 hour clearance notice but a worker who is shown here in a picture from video taken at the camp two days later took a machete and tore apart two tents. He grabs his machete and grabs the tent to where it went through it. So he made sure it was cut to shreds. Reporter he says the worker cut bicycle tires. The worker denies it saying the agency conducted its own investigation and said there is no evidence that the worker destroyed any property. The chp referred all calls to cal tran. Nobody want to take responsibility for it but the truth will come out eventually and the public needs to know whats going on. One has been saved and it has a way out to put it to sleep is a nightmare. Reporter but they never got to go to their new homes. They were euthanized on the same day at the animal services. This volunteer who didnt want to show her face says she saw the paperwork showing a rescue group had found barbie a home. It said there was an extension. Both were interested for illegally providing Immigration Services without proper licensing. Investigators say the two targeted immigrants who are often more vulnerable to abuse and fraud. The numbers started to grow. Police were moved in there trying to make sure they didnt get on the freeway and now theyve started to disburse. They are going over the overramp right there. Theres a National Movement today, but there are cars there, people getting in the way, so of course were trying to monitor and see which way theyre moving. Its probably a couple of hundred people at this point but now there is concern about people moving around safety and making sure the demonstrators are not hurt. That may explain a lot of whats going on here because theres no point person so theyre Walking Around in this area so were just kind of playing it by ear trying to predict where theyre going sto go next but they are walking on 17th down 17th and we are catching our breath trying to see where theyre going go next. A black lives matter protest in oakland where marchers have been gathering and marching through the streets for the past two hours now, it appears the small group, no more than 100 total, weve lost them somewhere in the live chopper view but have headed back to downtown okay la oakland. This is video of what appears to be the most dramatic mark when the protesters were taechlting attempting to get on the 980 freeway. They were shut down there. This confrontation lasted for probably about 15 minutes before the protesters eventually went on their way and started marching again. Our chopper last spotted them in downtown oakland. It seems like they might be heading to the plaza. This is part of a national day of action for the black lives matter protests. Protests were scheduled in San Francisco, oakland and san jose but the oakland protest appears to be the only one that has materializ materialized.
