Tonight, police say that they have arrested the man who left a suitcase full of body parts on a San Francisco sidewalk. They booked 59yearold mark andrus for murder this morning after getting an anonymous tip. The body parts were found wednesday near 11th and mission. Some were in a suitcase, others in another location nearby. It is unclear who the victim was and how he died. At this time, we do believe it was murder as our suspect was booked on murder. As far as the motive, and circumstances surrounding the murder, i wont have that until homicide completes the investigation. The body is believed to be a man. They are working to identify the remains. A new video from isis appears to show the beheading of a second japanese hostage. It was posted online today with a title a message to the government of japan. In it is a militant who has appeared in several other beheading videos. And so for the first time in a long time, after a perfectly dry january, we are going to get hit pretty good in the north bay. By friday, and for the rest of the bay area as well the rest of the day.
