Our legal analyst former judge Ladoris Cordell says it is highly unusual for Police Officers to be charged and even more rare for them to be convicted. Even though officers are charged with crimes, most of the time they are either acquitted or theres a hung jury and thats because jurors tend to believe officers over the accuser. So thats going to be a very interesting issue to find out, um, whether or not these officers are actually going to be convicted. She also says that because of heavy publicity, attorneys for both sides will face a challenge selecting fair and impartial jurors. And the judge could even opt for a change of venue.
