Anne makovec has been looking into her background and joins us with more. Reporter this is significant because this would be a woman in charge of a department that the mayor referred to as having a frat house culture in oakland. Her name is Anne Kirkpatrick. According to an internal memo mayor libby schaaf plans to make the announcement this morning and she will do it after a series of meetings with city council members. Anne kirkpatrick was the chief of the bureau of Organizational Development for the Chicago Police department beginning of june of last year.
