The flag is offensive to vietnameseamericans and she lost the election. Shirakawas dna from his saliva was discovered on the mailer. Shirakawa offered a few details in a written statement saying, my dna appears on that flyer because i created that flyer. I regret my conduct and apologize to the voters and the Santa Clara Community for my actions. He is in court right now waiting to hear his fate. If he comes clean to the judge, he will face community service. If not, the d. A. Will push for a year in jail.
