Just because we will not get a direct hit in tampa does not mean that we will will not feel the force of the storm but it does mean that certain areas like southwest florida where it is expected to make a direct impact will be hit be hit much harder than initially expected. The eye wall is about 35 miles wide and it is about to make landfall landfall this morning as they wake up and head into the afternoon hours. They are dealing with very strong winds. 155 miles an hour are the Current Conditions and that makes it a category four. It takes 157 miles an hour wind to make it a category five. Very strong winds as it wraps its wah way through florida and pushes its way to south carolina. That will continue to impact them all all through the day. About 15 inches of rain expected in the heart of orlando, alone. Think about it this way in san franc, San Francisco, we only get 25 inches of rain on average, a ye. A year. They are getting more than half of that from one system, alone. That marine layer layer is sticking around, keeping us cooler. We are sitting below average for the daytime highs ranging all the way up the peninsula and even io San Francisco. That will not be the case for us we are dealing with highpressure building in from the south. Lets take it a step back. Daytime highs today are not that bad. Mostly below average along the coastline. All all throughout the santa clara valley, we are going to warm up just a little bit more. 70s by tomorrow. And then we get rightk down to average as we head into the weekend.
