They say car burglaries are taking place in that neighborhood, but apparently the thieves dont want to stare your steal your car. The Officials Say the suspects fled the scene in this older white twodoor car that has a black stripe molding down the drivers side, a sunroof and a spoiler on the trunk. First suspect is described as light designed or hispanic male around six feet tall with a the second suspect is described as a light skinned or hispanic male around 58 with a heavy build and a tattoo on one of his forearms. The victim in this case says she was headed north on spice island drive approaching greg street when her car was hit from behind. We then gave the he then gave the wallet back and then drove off in her car. The driver of the other vehicle also took off. The suspect here described as whileman in his 30s with a bald left side of his head near his ear and a full tattoo on his arms. The other suspect is a white female in her 30s with blonde hair. Jo and one of the last public golf courses in town may be shutting down. The fate of the Wild Creek Golf Course right now remains in the balance. They want to see this golf course stay in the neighborhood and theyre urging them to consider all of the options before making that final decision to sell this property. The homeowners at the wild course adds value to the neighborhood. They say that if this golf course is sold, everything that it offers, the views and the recreation, all of that will be at risk. So that would, in turn, diminish their property values. However, the chairman, bob lucy, says the golf course is not profitable and is actually losing money. About 200,000 every year for golf operations. Now, this property has been under the control of the group for about 30 years, and they say it is time for them to get out of the golf business to focus on convention centers. The stadium and other Event Centers around town that bring tourists here into northern nevada. So this golf course sort of a black sheep in the portfolio. The board of directors and Many Community members today at this meeting seem to favor keeping the golf course here but transferring it to another municipality. They say the golf course parks and Recreation Services to citizens here. We want to continue to make sure that that is the focus of what were trying to do. This monday simon macias goes to the parole board to ask for his freedom, something carol is determined to fight. On may 23, 1992, Carol Nicoletti learned her 19year old daughter susan had been brutally stabbed and murdered then her life turn entered a nightmare. He did such a horrible thing to her, i could not recognize her. Mishandling of key evidence of a botched investigation lady throed a 1993 plea deal, Second Degree murder, which meant life in prison with the possibility of parole. For nicoletti, it has been impossible to find peace having to fight macias release every two to three years and the anxiety that comes with it. Even though i try to go forward, just the pain every day, you know, of missing her, and the thought of what he put her through. Since she was a 48yearold woman grieving the loss of her daughter, nicoletti has collected more than 14 4,000 petition signatures over the years to keep macias in jail. She is now 72, still going door to door, sharing her daughters community if he is let out. He should stay locked up. And ill do everything in my power to try to make that happen. Macias was denied parole for the seventh time in 2013. Nicoletti, with h help of her granddaughter, has collected more than 2,000 signatures for the hearing on monday. The only exception to that is you might see parts of virginia street blocked off from time to time for pedestrian traffic. That is only during special events downtown. It got nasty, personal and a precursor of what were probably going the see moving forward base they know super tuesday is next and this may be their last chance to make a really big impression nationwide before the poll.
