The bigger concern he says is the toll recent fires are taking on his crews, which are already shortstaffed. This is the fourth fire in 24 ours that weve had and thats unusual, even for us actually, uh, it, its only gonna get worse from here. Crews from Contra Costa County helped knock down a 5 alarm fire near fairfield friday, and marshall says if multiple fires continue to pop up in the east bay, the Fire Protection district may also seek help from other agencies. If we are in need, we can call resources just like they did and get those resources here the trick is it takes a while to get them. In concord, Philippe Djegal, kron four news. One person is dead and three others are injured following a shooting in windsor this morning. Officials say the incident happened shortly after midnight on windsor avenue. By the time deputies arrived on scene. They found a teenage boy who had been shot in the chest. He later died from his injuries. His name has not been released. Three other victims who were also shot were taken to the hosptial. Deputies say the shooting occurred outside a residence where a party was going on. Authorities are still searching for the shooter. Two people are in Critical Condition following a shooting in suison this morning. Officers say it happened around 1 this morning in the 700 block of civic center boulevard. Two women suffered gunshot wounds to the head and neck area. They were taken to the hospital. And listed in critical but stable condition. Officials say the women were in their midtwenties. And are residents of suison and vallejo. Their identities have not been released. Police are still searching for the shooter. San francisco neighborhoods vary quite a bit from block to block. The rower had been participating in the Great Pacific race. Which is a 24 hundred mile rowing competition from monterey to hawaii. The coast guard rescued four other rowers from the same race yesterday morning. Take a look at this video of the helicopter rescue. Officials received a distress call late friday evening about a rowboat that was sinking. Crews were able to locate the rowers around 1 am about 75 miles west of san luis obispo. Heres a picture of the fire from a viewer. A disneyland spokeswoman says the blaze happened this afternoon in a loading dock area. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in about 20 minutes. The city auditor has warned about putting more fatigue on our officers. Under the new plan officers working the night shift could be forced to worked two hours of ot a day, and officers working the day shift could be held over three hours the ot will be handed out first to officers with the least seniority the additional hours there will be forced to work will put more of a burden on the officers.
