Every Cable Television station, every major network, around 12 15 today, they all went to Roger Goodell at the podium coming out of hiding talking about the situation now in the nfl, the ray rice case and Domestic Violence. I got it wrong in the handling of the ray rice matter. And im sorry for that. I got to wrong on a number of levels from the process that i led to the decision that i reached. We strongly, strongly condemn and will punish behavior that is totally unacceptable. Have you considered resigning at any point throughout this . I have not. Im focused on doing my job. Yeah, and by all accounts, um, goodell had the owners in his favor. Last year, for instance, the tv rights deal that he negotiated so strong that he was awarded over 40 million in salary from his, quote, bosses the owners. So he seems safe as far as thats concerned. But then after his press conference, a report came out well documented that the Baltimore Ravens hours after ray rice remember the first video where he was dragging his then fiancee out of the elevator, he knew about that. Not goodell, i should say the Baltimore Ravens knew about that and subsequently went to goodell asking to, please, show for lack of a better term a little mercy on the organization. So if indeed that turns out to be true, goodell its one thing to maybe make a mistake as he said over and over. But another thing to be a liar. If they knew about that hours after the incident took place, Roger Goodell is in hot water. Thats how it stands for now. Baseball, giants, dodgers already won. They are tree games back at this hour. And ohoh, tim hudson getting roughed up at the close of Business Today unless the giants stage a comeback they will be 3. 5 back. This is my line is always make people who arent interested in sports also want to check and see what youre doing so if you just Start Talking about you know, the 49ers have to attack the Arizona Cardinals with this type of offense, people are going to think youre a little light on your feet. Absolutely. So hey, i know it gets redundant to a lot of people but thats what folks are talking about. Okay. Do you get tired of it . Its just the subject is like oh, and then you have the Adrian Peterson thing, like wow. Its a lot going on. Okay. It needs to be discussed. So thats it. Thank you for backing your husband. Thats an appropriate thing to do. Jake, lay off of mcdonald fans. We want to win. Jay, listen, you never say anything against an audience member because its in this day and age, if you got somebody who watches you on a regular basis, theyre precious. Yeah. Thank you. If all you care is about winning and you dont care about what type of individual you have representing you, youre wrong. Youre just absolutely wrong. Believe me, none of us are saints but you just cant root for somebody who, um, and im talking about the guys who have been already convicted, mcdonald, still, we dont know for sure yet. But right now, you Adrian Peterson. Geno says you finally Say Something i believe in newsom and pelosi should butt out on the 49ers. Thank you geno very much. Your he as a Michael Savage fan. I do. Did he say anything im proud of it, yes. Im not proud of you but no has he been talking about them butting in on this . Um, now what, i think probably a lot of the political talk shows are saying you know the politicians want to get in now election season coming up. My line is always, if you want to jump on somebody, get there first not two weeks in. Thats piling on. Okay. Ike, whats your deal lincecum doesnt deserve to be on the postseason roster. Whats my deal . He stole that from jim harbaugh and pete carroll. Said that to harbaugh many moons ago. The giants paid him a lot but he has been around a long time of.
