Prosecutors say she was under the influence and driving without a license in june when he reported crossed the center line on a twolane bridge and crashed right into lorana dominguez and her baby daughter. Eric palmer was in a courtroom yesterday but his arraignment was postponed. Palmer will be assigned a public defender and enter airplay today. Police in san leandro have released surveillance photos of four people wanted in connection to this weeks shooting at bay area fall. Police say they are looking for two men and two women all 1825 years old. One of the men and one of the women have multiple tattoos. The shooting happened monday morning in one of the parking lots. The shooter followed the victim there. That opinion got away in a silver or gray suv with three other people. The victim is expected to survive. A lot of people had tickets to last nights concert but they never even made it here and they missed the show all together. They were caught in an unbelievable traffic mess last night. What some people describe as historic. Some of them forced to listen from their cars as the concert got under way. Some people took public transportation. That wasnt any better. Some people were on muni buses for two hours last night trying to get here. Because so many people were caught in this backup, sir Paul Mccartney went on an hour later at 9 00 last night. In this case 24 cats and kittens were dropped off. The shelter has seen an influx of 100. Almost all the cats are black and white tuxedo cats and it appears they are related. Now more about californias drought. Water companies required to notify customers of mandatory water use restrictions and possible fines. They made that retirement in response to the governors drought approximate. Companies need to directly notify customers of the restrictions within the next 20 days. According to the San Jose Mercury news the Public UtilitiesCommission Approved a 15 increase in monthly water bills through the end of the year. There is another unspecified increase planned for 2015. Now this rate hike effects almost one million customers. They will raise nearly 47 million in extra revenue through the higher rates. Two firefighters have been hurt while battling a wild fire. About 70acres have burned so far since that fire started yesterday afternoon. Its now just about 5 contained. The roads in the area including highway 39 are closed. No homes are threatened at this time a Northern California top also trying to cope with heavy smoke from several wild fires. Lightning sparked 20 separate fires. More than 1500 acres have burned choking the town with smoke. Firefighters say unusually dry brush from the drought is complicating efforts to fight the fires. Happening right now at ferguson, missouri the police chief of ferguson, missouri is holding a News Conference announcing the name of the Police Officer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager last saturday. Lets listen in. I wont be taking any questions here. I want [ inaudible ] so i just want to give you a little timeline of what happened on august 9th. From 11 48 to noon the officer involved in a shooting was on a sick call. There was an ambulance present. At 11 51 there was a 911 call from a Convenience Store nearby. Not this one. 11 52 dispatch gave the description of a robbery suspect over the radio. A different officer arrived at the store where the strong arm robbery occurred. A further description, more detail was given over the radio and stated the officer was walking the suspect was walking toward quick trip. Our officer left the sick call. He encountered sorry. At 12 01 p. M. Our officer encountered Michael Brown. At 12 04 a second officer arrived on scene. A at 12 05 a supervisor was dispatched to the scene. There has been some questions about the calling of an ambulance, the ambulance that was at the sick case on glen ark was coming by immediately poll lowing the shooting and they did respond to assess Michael Brown. So im going to have some Police Officers that will be handing out packets that all the information that was requested concerning the robbery. We will give those packets first of all to those agencies that have made the sunshine request and then anybody else who wants them i think we have enough to give out. Weve got quite a few. Sorry. The officer that was involved in the shooting of Michael Brown was darren wilson. Hes been a Police Officer for six years that has had no disciplinary action taken against him. He was treated for injuries which occurred on saturday. Again i wont be taking any questions at this time but the packets will billion handed out by my officers. The name is Darren Darren wilson. Wilson. And thank you. All right we are listening in live to this News Conference in ferguson, missouri. This is the police chief Thomas Jackson who sounds a bit nervous as he delivers some information and the big piece of information was the officers name involved in the shooting of Michael Brown. And he did say the officer has been an officer for six years. No disciplinary action. He talked about a robbery at a Convenient Store nearby that the officer was responding to. Did not say if Michael Brown was in fact the robbery suspect but there is a whole packet being distributed to everybody there at that press conference. The big part of this News Conference he identified as the officer as officer darren wilson. A sixyear Police Officer. He has nothing on his record of any blemishes. He said he was injured in the confrontation with Michael Brown. In the past they did not want to release the information on who that officer was because of fear for his safety. But again just moments ago and you just saw it right here, they announced the name of the officer in ferguson, missouri as darren wilson. A sixyear Police Department veteran. And again they are handing out packets with more information. We will get that information as well. Time is 6 48. There is new information about a Police Shooting in san jose where a 19yearold woman was killed. An officer was called to the home because the woman said she was going to kill her family. Janine de la vega is joining us from san jose with cell phone of this confrontation. Reporter this Police Shooting was witnessed by several people in this neighborhood. Now one man captured some of this video of the exchange on his cell phone and in it you can hear officers tell the woman to drop what was in her hand several times and to stop coming closer. Now in this cell phone video, you can see the 19yearold woman in front of a home carrying what officers thought was a weapon. Even pointing it several times directly at them. Police initially responded here around 10 30 yesterday morning after getting a call saying she was going to kill her family with an assault weapon. But police say she would not put the object down in her hand. You can hear officers saying stop right there. That is when officer wakana whos been on the police force for 13 years fired one fatal round. Were not showing it but in the video you can see the woman lying on the ground. Police say the officer feared for her safety and the safety of the public. Authorities later determined the weapon was this cordless drill painted all black. You can hear the map that captured this video reeling what was found. It looked like a drill. The man didnt want to be identified but wanted to share the video do see how the drill could have been mistaken for a gun. The womans identity has not been released.
