The university reached an agreement that m officials call a zero tolerance about his future behavior. Any other violations of Sexual Harassment policy will result in the dispension or dismissal. That apology reads in part, while i dont agree with each complaint that has been made, its clear that my behavior was unwell comed by some women. University officials are defending how they handled these complaints against the professor, but familiar, certainly, some students and some of this professors former colleagues believe that in terms of punishment, the school has not gone far enough. Later that day, hotel staff found the maid critically injured in a penthouse room where that man had been. We are told that she had been choked and sexually assaulted. He grew up to an iranian father and american mother. He and his wife moved to iran in 2008 to work as news reporters. Jason lezain. He was dentinned by the iranian government on espionage charges. The past 14 months have been extremely difficult. His brother has spent most of too that time isolated. Hes also lost about 50 pounds while hes been in prison. From a psychological perspective, its been extremely difficult to debt go much information about his brothers case. The family learned about that verdict. I think its bun misreported that jason was convicted of a specific thing. We have no idea what charges, if any, he was convicted of. There have been some people that translated that to be being convicted. We dont know what of the charges they are claiming. Whatever the verdict, rezaian has 20 days to appeal it. His brother says the family will be more of theistic optimistic once they can move to an Appeals Court irane president has requested the idea of a prison swap or exchange involving rezaians case. His brother says he thinks its unfair to tie jasons freedom to something he has nothing to do with, but his brother says at the same time he wants jason out to prison. In their report, the Group Recommends installing a system to blow dry air in inside the cable. And which they say is becoming standard. The head of the bay Bridge Oversight Committee told the chronicle he would be talking about that proposal with caltrans. Prosecutors are trying to link him to the murders of a businessman and a former associate. The charges will be part of a racketeering case against him who is already under indictment on federal counts of racketeering, Money Laundering and conspiracy. His attorneys deny he had any involvement in the two killings. Time now is 6 45. A change in the Water Quality in the east bay because of the drought. It has some people complaining that their tap water tastes and smells bad. Now, along the 680 corridor from walnut creek heading south, the tapwater is just not the way it used to be. East bay mud which supplies the area says because of the drought, theyre using alternate water supplies. Now, they say the water is safe. Its just different. All of the water districts in the area are having similar challenges. Sometimes with the result of the water just being a different source, and so it just has a different chemical makeup. Sometimes it tastes different because with the warm weather gentlemen been having in this drought year, it increases the likelihood that there is algae in the water.
