Yesterday. Livermore minus 7. It is cooler. It is nice today. Upper 60s and low 70s. Getting busy sal, or busier. It has been busy for the last hour. Now were seeing the peak of the commute, starting off with the toll plaza if youre trying to get into San Francisco. A couple of minor crashes but the traffic is slow at the toll plaza. Nothing out of the ordinary. 20 to 25 minute delay if you make it on to the span. You see that traffic will be okay. You look at the south bay commute and the traffic is going to be slow. Almost every friday getting up to the west valley. There is still room when you get there. All of the traffic is essentially moving up to the west. Theyre all going here. Pretty soon this area will be crowded as well. Just give yourself extra time. Look at downtown san jose. You can see for yourself that 280 northbound is slow around that corner up to highway 17. At 7 01, the chp is investigating a violent crash that killed three women this morning in marin county. Allie rasmus is near sir francis boulevard where the accident happened. Reporter sir francis boulevard opened an hour ago. All three victims, the three women in the car were wearing their seat belts but the impact was too much and the women did not survive. Now, about 5 00 this morning, a tow truck hauled away the wreckage of that crash. The Toyota Corolla the three women had been in was almost unrecognizable. Just a tingle of metal as it was being pulled up to on the flatbed tow truck. The wreck happened around midnight about a mile west of the entrance of the park. The car hit a power pole before plowing into several trees. This is the only vehicle involved in the crash. But chp officers dont know the ages or identities of the victims yet. They appeared to be younger adults, possibly in their 20s. Drivers who frequent this area say this road dark and windy can be treacherous. It is dangerous, especially when the road is wet or when its drizzling. If you dont observe the speed limit, of course there is wildlife out here. You throw in distracted driver and alcohol, those are all factors. It is an ongoing investigation. We will be looking at all of that. Reporter chp doesnt know if speed was a factor or possibly wildlife on the road. There was quite a few deer that we saw on the roadway on the side of the roadway as we were driving up here. All of this still under investigation. Back to you, gasia. Thank you. Police have made an arrest in a deadly hit and run case. Police caught up with the suspect after a fivehour manhunt. She spotted the 27yearold edwards in a white pickup truck that matched the description of the vehicle in yesterdays hit and run. The incident apparently began with a dispute at the True World Foods warehouse in san leandro. Investigators say they believe edwards was trying to steal wooden pallets but confronted by a store worker. He then drove off in the white truck, intentionally hitting and killing the employee. Then they found it abandoned as they made the uturn. This man was walking away and tried to escape them. They were able to apprehend him without any incident. Edwards is being held on a charge of suspicion of market. There is a market for recycled pallets. The employee killed has not been identified yet. Officials at San Jose State University promise to make changes after the alleged rape of two female students. The schools president says she realizes now more needs to be done to help victims of Sexual Assault. Ktvus janine de la vega is at san jose telling us what they plan to do. Good morning. Reporter yeah. The president sent out a letter to students and faculty saying they need to do more to help the victims. The letter says it will make changes to the way that it responds to Sexual Assault allegations. Those changes include improving communications with victims and reexamining when to send out alerts following a Sexual Assault report. When we spoke to students late last week, many were upset that the campus never sent out a campus alert about the rapes that occurred at an off campus party. The school is just trying do their best with the situation. So i mean, theres not much they can do. It already happened. Theyre trying to make it better for the future. E. Reporter the suspect, a freshman water polo player, was barred from campus during the investigation. He wasnt arrested but the District Attorneys Office is reviewing his case. In that time, the student has since left to go back to serbia. They are in the midst of planning a series of campus conversations about Sexual Violence and harassment and how they plan on combating it. Dave. Thank you, janine de la vega. In the meantime uc berkeley is alerting students about two Sexual Assaults reported at off campus fraternities. Both happened over the weekend. In the first case a female student reported being assaulted at a party friday night. In the second case, another student told police she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at a Party Saturday morning. No arrests have been made. Police arent saying whether the two assaults happened at the same fraternity. New this morning, demonstrators and protesters and Police Clashed at el cajon, california in the latest protest against a deadly officerinvolved shooting there three weeks ago. Police refused to reveal what sparked the overnight scuffle but some demonstrators say a taco shot near last months shooting wants officers to take down a memorial because it was disrupting the business. It was for the man killed last month. In the meantime, 14 protesters arrested in another demonstration are now suing the city, claiming their civil rights were violated. The president of the nations Largest Police association is apologizing for the mistreatment of people of color. There have been times when Law Enforcement officers because of the laws inenacted by federal, state and local governments have been the he face of oppression to far too many of our fellow citizens. Cunningham is a police chief in wellesley, massachusetts. He spoke in san diego at the association of chiefs of police yesterday. A man in texas is now the first prison inmate to reject a clemsonence eoffer from president obama. 50yearold Arnold Ray Jones is serving time in prison for drug charges. He would have been released a few years early but required to enroll in a residential drug treatment program. Jones turned down the offer. The president has commuted the sentences of more than 700 people, most serving time for nonviolent drug crimes. Well, happening today, the San Jose City council is considering several new regulations on medical marijuana, just weeks before voters in california decide whether or not to legalize recreational marijuana. The issues include whether to allow medical marijuana dispensaries in the city to offer delivery service. Another proposal would allow registered dispensaries to grow at two locations. The San Jose Police have come out in favor of allowing the dispensaries to deliver marijuana to their clients. Almost up to 50 minutes there. We will explore that next traffic report. As you can see, traffic on 101 San Francisco doesnt look bad as you drive through the area. The traffic continues to move along relatively well now. We talked about the east shore freeway from hercules to richmond is slow. 680 is slow from concord to walnut creek. Southbound 880 is congested from hayward down to fremont. A couple of earlier accidents partially to blame. 7 16. Todays weather with steve. A cloud deck out there. Coastal variety. Getting late in the season but of some of that moving locally inland. Some of it reducing visibility where you are. It will lift but its a sign be that the temperatures will be on the cool side. A San Francisco Police Officer still recovering after being shot in the head. The new information about the suspect and what police say he did right before the shooting. We have seen years where you have a good start and then the rest of the winter peters out. Were hopeful that we continue to have a rainy year and have an average or above average year. The Water District also says conservation efforts from people in the community are also helping to make a difference when it comes to the drought. Now it looked like winter in the sera nevada yesterday. Causing dangerous driving conditions and chain requirements on the mountain passes. Elevations above 6,000 feet got up to a feet of snow. It is giving the resorts hope that the upcoming ski season will be a good one. Today a federal judge in San Francisco is due to hear from volkswagen owners fighting volkswagens 10 billion settlement in the emissions scandal. The judge gave preliminary approval to the deal back in july. Volkswagen would spend the 10 billion to buy back or fix 475,000 volkswagens and audis with 2 litter diesel engines. The owners would get 5,000 to 10,000 each. More than two dozen people have signed up to address the judge. Last year it was discovered that volkswagen had fitted many of the cars with Software Designed to fool an emissions test. Well, City Planners in San Francisco are stepping up their efforts to transport people underground. Now theyre reviewing plans for the citys socalled subway city project. It is exploring underground roots under San Francisco. Most people in the city would like to see a subway along gary boulevard and 19th avenue. Right now, theres no specific timetable for these proposed projects. An unmanned space craft carrying thousands of pounds of supplies is heading to the International Space station. Nasa launched the rocket from virginia. But a private aerospace and Defense Company built the rocket. Its the companys First Successful flight since an explosion two years ago during a launch destroyed a launch pad. 15million was spent repairing that launch pad. It has played into a coastal variety. Usually this time of year after rain were looking for that inland fog. Its the coastal variety. Upper 60s to 70 around the bay. Mostly sunny. There is fog moving over the golden gate. Kind of engulfing that, if you will. Ill get out of the way. Low clouds. Again, most of it moving north to south. Some of that has moved over the bay. Misty drizzle in there. A couple showers up in Mendocino County. Some cloud cover continuing to move through. Mendocino, lake county, most of the activity to the north is winding down. After october and getting into november, around the holidays, it will trail off a little bit. Right now its quite a commute to the macarthur maze. Almost an hour. 58 minutes. Just to be clear, when there is no slow traffic or very little slow traffic, this drive takes about 20 minutes. So about three times as long as it normally should, i guess. The average speed is about 20 Miles Per Hour. And thats not great obviously. When you get to the bay bridge toll plaza, more waiting to do. You start to counter over and wait 25 minutes to get on to the bay bridge. It has been a pretty slow commute. Also looking at slow commutes around the bay. 880 southbound is slow after 238. As you drive all the way down to hayward and fremont, an early accident to blame. There is an approach problem here. Westbound 84 right after 880 there is a crash. San mateo bridge traffic is moderate. 101 is slow through menlo park. Thats it for now. 7 30. Lets go back to the desk. Sal, rear getting new details about an excon accused of trying to ambush two vallejo officers while they were taking a break inside of a starbucks. The Police Officers eventually shot and wounded that man. Alex savage is in vallejo right now. Police say the man who targeted the officers was already wanted for questioning in another case. Good morning. Reporter right, dave. Good morning to you. This north bay father is accused of leaving his 2year old son behind after the toddler accidentally shot himself on sunday afternoon. And then just a few hours later, Authorities Say this man tried to attack a pair of Vallejo Police officers who were on a coffee break, sitting right inside the front door of this starbucks store off of interstate 880. Police say that 41yearold adam powell was wearing body armor and carrying an illegally modified assault weapon. He pointed that gun at the two officers and tried to fire but the weapon jam. Surveillance video shows powell running off from the store. The officers chasing after him with the guns drawn. They caught up with him about a block away from a nearby neighborhood and ended up shooting powell three times as he continued to try to clear the weapon. We started hearing a woman screaming my baby. Reporter and then there was this chaotic scene that unfolded earlier in the day on sunday at a home, when powells 2yearold son adonis accidentally shot himself. This was on sunday afternoon. He was at home at the time of the accidental shooting according to investigators but he left before officers arrived at the scene. Police also say the gun used in the accidental shooting, the gun that that 2yearold boy got ahold of was nowhere to be found inside of the home. We spoke with the boys grandfather and he says he tried to help that injured child who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck. He is adorable, man. He is adorable. Thats my boy. Thats my boy. My youngest grandson. The gun was fired inside of the room. Theres no indication that anybody else fired the gun. So the presumption is that the juvenile got access to a firearm inside of the room. Reporter and that 2year old boy remains in Critical Condition at Childrens Hospital in oakland this morning. At the same time, his father, adam powell, also remains hospitalized after being shot by those Vallejo Police officers. He is in critical but stable condition. And authorities have not said at this point exactly why powell tried to take out those two Vallejo Police officers. But they say this was clearly a premeditated ambush. Just a few minutes before powell walked up to the front door of the starbucks store with the gun, he drove by the store, saw the officers inside. So this is clearly something that was carefully planned out. Dave. All right. Alex savage in vallejo. Thank you. The time is 7 33. Were learning more about the suspect accused of shooting a San Francisco Police Officer in the head last friday night. Investigators say the man was 26yearold Nicholas Mcwherter of pacificca. Investigators say he fought with security guards, ran away, and later shot officer kevin downs in the head. Police sources are telling ktvu that he was living out of his van, most recently parked in front of a house on 17th avenue. Parked outside of my house. And it was there for several days. Concerning of course because i have a family and children. Now, friends say that mcwherter had recently gone off of his medication. Officer downs is expected to survive but he had surgery to remain bullet fragments from his skull. Doctors are hoping that he will regain movement. His family, including his wife and father, who is a San Francisco retired police lieutenant, theyre at his side at the hospital. The time is 7 34. Just a few hours from now a public memorial will be held for two palm springs Police Officers ambushed and killed two weeks ago. The memorial will be held at 11 00 this morning at the Palm Springs Convention center. Governor jerry brown and californias attorney general harris are expected to attend. A gang member has pleaded not guilty to shooting and killing the Police Officers. Lesley zerebny had just returned to work after giving birth to a baby four months ago. V. A. Secretary Bob Mcdonnell claimed more than 90 of these medical centers have hired newman engineers since he took over that troubled agency in 2014. However, a usa today investigation found that only eight medical directors have been hired outside of the agency during that time. The study found that the rest of the new leadership that mcdonnell cites is a result of moving existing v. A. Managers to different jobs. Inmates are on a twoweek Hunger Strike demanding better conditions. The inmates sent a list of demands to the sheriff last month but she has not responded. The inmates want changes in jail cell assignments and better clothing. I mean, some of these individuals they cant even get their proper hygiene. They cant get the proper clothing that every individual needs to have. The Sheriffs Office says it has enacted reforms. Their outdoor time has also doubled. Inmates are being hydrated subpoena monitored for signs of distressed. The uneaten food is being donated to the salvation army. A marin county gun range is closing after 25 years. It will close this thursday. The owner told the marin independent journal that he just couldnt come to an agreement with the landlord. The paper says that bulls eye is the only public shooting range in marin county and often used as a Training Facility for the san raphael Police Department. Posters were put up accusing a teacher that teaches palestinian studies of terrorism. The universitys president called them unacceptable bullying behavior. The group has placed similar posters at other universities accuse the schools of supporting terrorist propaganda organizations. The time is 7 37. Today in houston, the nfl team owners will meet. Oakland raiders owner mark davis will tell them the latest on the proposed move to las vegas. A relocation vote is not expected until january at the earliest. However the owners will be collecting information this week. Thats why the governor of nevada, Brian Sandoval signed legislation approving a Hotel Tax Increase that would raise 750 million for a new 2 billion raiders stadium. Very, very sad. Now, mark davis denied speculation that he is supporting that vegas deal in an effort to pressure oakland. He says he made a commitment to nevada and he has never used another city as leverage. New this morning, authorities in bang le know who funded the terrorist attack at a restaurant where 20 people were came. It came from three men, one was a pediatrician who fled to syria with his family to join isis. Another was an army major. Both of those men were killed in police raids. Reportedly the three men belonged to a banned local militant group. Isis claimed responsibility for the attack. But the government of bangladesh says that the local government was behind it. Russian and syrian warplanes are temporarily stopping airstrikes on aleppo. Is a truce to allow Syrian Rebels to leave aleppo. Russia says that they have observe a humanitarian pause for 30 hours to allow civilians to leave the city. The airstrikes have caused outrage around the world. In just a few hours, jury selection will continue in the trial of a man accused of kidnapping and killing sierra lamar. The search for jurors in the trial of garciatorres began yesterday after a number of delays. Our cameras were not allowed in the courtroom. Jury selection came four years after sierra lamar disappeared from a morgan hill bus stop. Her body was never found. There was a gasp in the courtroom when the judge told potential jurors this trial could last as long as six months. Jurors had to fill out a request to be excused or a 31 page questionnaire. This is a treasure trove of information particularly for the prosecution because they want to get law and order type of juror thats will convict in this case. Attorneys will question hundreds of potential jurors. The jury pool will be trimmed down to 12 jurors, six alternates. Coming up today on the 9 we discuss the proceedings in this high profile trial. Good samaritans in new jersey actually picked up a crashed car and rescued a woman who was pinned underneath it. The car hit a tree sunday afternoon. She was ejected from the car. Then the car landed on top of her. Youre looking at Police Dash Cam video. You can see a group of people running over to the crash scene to help her. One person says she didnt even think twice about jumping in to help. The car was smoking. The horn was blaring. I was complete panic. But like i have to get her out. On 80 westbound, this is a typical commute. On 80 westbound as you drive out to the macarthur maze from the bridge, the delay will be slow. Just a couple of minor incidents. Once you get to the bay bridge toll plaza, it is backed up for 25 minutes. As we go back to the rest of the east bay commute, it has been typical. Slow on 680 and 24. 580 is backed up into san leandro. And 80 northbound is slow from 238 all the way up to the coliseum. 8 03. Lets go back to the desk. The chp is investigating a crash that killed three women. The chp says the car hit a power support pole before crashing into several trees. At the point it says investigators are still looking into the cause. It can be a dangerous road if you dont observe the speed limit. Of course there is wildlife out here as well. You throw in distracted driving and alcohol and those are all factors. We will be looking at all of that in the ongoing investigation. Sir francis boulevard was shut down for hours in both directions but now the road is back open. Police have made an arrest in a deadly hit and run investigation that may have started in the theft of wood pallets. They got the call after a five hour manhunt. They spotted him in a white pickup truck matching the description of the vehicle in yesterdays hit and run. It starred at the warehouse in san leandro. Investigators believe that edwards was trying to steal wood pallets but was confronted by the store worker. Edwards then drove off in the white truck, intentionally hitting and killing the employee. A description was given to Law Enforcement agencies throughout the San Francisco bay area, namely the oakland Police Department, knowing that a lot of people who recycle pallets come to this city to do so. Edwards is being held without bail on a charge of suspicion of murder. There is a large black market for stolen wood pallets. The employee who was killed has not yet been identified. The two rapes of two students at San Jose University has prompted the president to change how they handle Sexual Assault investigations. Janine de la vega is live at san jose with what students are telling you this morning. Reporter one student told me that he feels that the university is just doing damage control now. But most that we spoke to say they are happy that the president realizes that things could have been handled better. The University President sent a letter to students and faculty saying that Campus Police will reevaluate when the university should issue campus alerts. One was not sent informing students that two females were allegedly raped over Labor Day Weekend and an off campus party. At least one victim was not told that the player had been suspended and banned from campus. The University Also needs to improve Communications Following Sexual Misconduct cases. They plan to identify points of contact and resources for victims. I think its reasonable for them to do that. I mean, i wish it didnt have to happen that way. I wish we were a little more informed. But i mean, at this point, theyre trying to do their best to make sure that we all feel safe. Reporter the university will be holding a series of campus conversations for students to talk about the gravity of Sexual Violence and harassment. The District Attorney is still reviewing the allegations. The student accused of rape had not been arrested so he went back home to serbia. It does not have an extradition agreement with the u. S. The first case a female student reported being assaulted at a party friday night. In the second case, another student said she was sexually assaulted saturday by an acquaintance at a party. No arrests have been made and police arent saying if the two assaults happened at the same fraternity. Tonight there will be a meeting on the santa clarity University Campus to give students and faculty to discuss a recent act of vandalism. Video was seen of two men smearing blood in the shape of a swastica. They have identified the people responsible. The National Weather service has issued red flag warnings and watches for several counties in Southern California through thursday. It is especially worried about the mountains, valleys and coastline. This week, temperatures could reach 100 degrees in parts of Southern California with 50 Miles Per Hour wind gusts. The rain that we got over the weekend was much needed. Up to 10 inches of rain over a 24hour period during the recent storm. That helped to fill the reservoir in south santa clara county. Overall reservoirs in the county are about 40 capacity. Officials are hoping for a very big winter. So if youre trying to drive from, lets say, fremont to the silicon valley, theres going to be a lot of slow traffic in your way. A couple minor accidents and pesky problems that have refused to go away. Theyre on the shoulder but still causing slow traffic. 101 is slow from the peninsula into the south bay. And you can see going the other way, a lot of people always ask me about this commute. Westbound 580, the commute from san leandro to the lake shore area of oakland is still brutal. 13 is solid all the way up to the 24 area on northbound 13. Lets get a look at the toll plaza. Chp is investigating a crash in marin county that killed three men this morning. The car hit a power pole and hit a tree just after midnight. The road was shut down in both directions for hours. The cause of that crash is still under investigation. A 27yearold man is under arrest on charges of stealing wood pallets from a san leandro warehouse and running over and killing a store employee who tried to prevent the theft. Edwards was spotted driving a white truck that matched the vehicle seen by witnesses at the crime scene. Investigators believe that edwards tried to steal the pallets but was confronted by the employee at the store. A father accused of trying to shoot two vallejo officers at a coffee shot. He was wanted for questioning in the accidental shooting of his 2yearold boy. Election lek has more on what were learning about the motive. Reporter thank you, mike. Investigators are saying this was a premeditated ambush. It is pure luck that the two officers were not hurt. The two officers were taking a coffee break, sitting just inside of this starbucks store at lincoln road and interstate 880 on sunday night. Thats when a parolee armed with an i willlily modified assault weapon calmly walked up to the front door and tried to take out those two officers. Police say that adam powell was wearing body armor at the time and pointed that gun at the two officers and tried to fire it. But the weapon jammed. Surveillance video shows powell running off with the officers chasing him into a nearby neighborhood. They caught up with him a block or so away and they shot powell three times as he was still trying to clear that weapon. He was obviously a danger to the public. Reporter Authorities Say powell was wanted for questioning after his 2year old son adonis was accidentally shot i should say accidentally shot himself at a home. This was just a few hours before the violent confrontation in vallejo. Now, powell, according to investigators, was at home at the time of the accidental shooting but then left before officers arrived at the scene. Police also say they could not find the gun that the boy used to shoot himself at that home. The gun was gone. A lot of neighbors that we talked to in the area are having trouble understanding what exactly happened inside of the home. I know that my 2yearold didnt have the dexterity to grab a gun and pull the trigger. If they grabbed it off the table or something, that might have happened. But it just dont sound right. Reporter investigators are trying to figure out what was going on inside of the home when the 2yearold boy shot himself in the neck. Again, that toddler remains in the hospital in Critical Condition this morning. And at the same time, his father, adam powell, the accused gunman in the vallejo confrontation, also remains in the hospital after being shot by the officers. He is said to be in critical but stable condition. Authorities have not offered up a motive for the attempted ambush at the starbucks store. But they say that it is clear this was a planned attack on the part of powell. Apparently a few minutes earlier, he drove by the saar bucks store and saw the two officers sitting inside, taking the coffee break and then minutes later walked up to the front door with the high powered weapon. Alex savage live in vallejo. Thank you, alex. A man suspected of shooting a San Francisco Police Officer in the head last friday night. The man has been filed as nick al mcwherter of pacificca. He tried to buy a knife at this Sporting Goods store. Investigators say he fought with security guards and ran away and later shot officer kevin downs in the head. Mcwherter was living out of his van most recently, parked outside of a home. It was parked outside of my house for several days. It was concerns because i have a family and children. He grew up in pacificca, including three brothers. He suffered from Mental Illness and had recently gone off his medication. The officer is suffering paralysis on one side of his body. Doctors hope that he will remain movement. A public memorial is being held for two palm springs Police Officers ambushed and killed two years ago. The memorial will be held at 11 00 this morning at the Palm Springs Convention center. Governor jerry brown and californias attorney general harris are among the 10,000 people expected to attend. A 26yearold gang member has pleaded not guilty to shooting and killing the officers. Lesley zerebny had just returned to work after giving birth four months ago. Posters on the University Campus accuse a professor of terrorism. A group took credit for placing the posters around the university. The same group has placed other posters at other universities accusing the university of terrorist propaganda. The search for jurors in this trial finally began yesterday after a number of delays. Cameras were not allowed in court. Jury selection comes four years after sierra lamar disappeared from a morgan hill bus stop. The body has never been found. The potential jurors filled out a request to be excused o are a 31 or a 31page juror questionnaire. The prosecution wants to get law and order type of jurors that will convict in this case. Attorneys will question hundreds of potential jurors. The jury pool will eventually be whittled down to 12 jurors and six alternates. Coming up we talk about the intrickas s of this high profile case. Search crews will resume the search for a plane that disappeared. Its last known position is a rugged area southwest of lake tahoe. Air patrols have been searching the area but strong winds, rain and even snow has made it a difficult search. Sometimes difficult to discern between an aircraft and the snow and the ground or even the trees and stuff like that if there are not bright colors. Even then, its like looking for a needle in a haystack. Crews on foot are also searching for the plane. Theres no word on the identity of the pilot. There were no other passengers on board. A planes brakes are being blamed for intense moments at hayward executive airport. The plane skidded off of the runway. The airport manager says for some reason the left brakes locked as the plane was coming down. It then skidded on to an adjacent field. Supervisors jane king and avalos will hold a press Conference Today to announce details of a resolution to cut ties with the San Francisco bank. This is in response to the settlement over fake accounts. Representatives of the alliance for californians for Community Empowerment will also speak at the press conference later this morning about wells fargo. Today a federal judge in San Francisco will hear from volkswagen owners who are fighting the 10 billion settlement in the emissions scandal. The judge gave preliminary approval to the deal in july. Volkswagen would spend 10 billion to buy back or repair 475,000 volkswagen and audis with 2 litter diesel engines. Owners would also get 5,000 to 10,000 each. Now, last year it was discovered of course that volkswagen had fitted many of the cars with software to fool emissions tests. We just got confirmation from samsung and sfo that representatives will be out at the airport to help people get rid of their galaxy note 7 phones. Samsung sent us a statement saying that the company will have representatives at a variety of places to exchange or refound their phones, including some of the biggest airports such as sfo and lax. New this morning, authorities in bangladesh know who funded the july 1st terror attack in a restaurant where 20 people were killed. Investigators say the 100,000 in funding came from three men in bangladesh. One was a pediatrician who fled to syria with his family to join isis. The two others were a retired army major and a man who donated the proceeds from a sale of an apartment. Reportedly the three men belonged to a banned local mill at that point group. The government of bangladesh says a local militant group was behind it. Syrian and russian warplanes are ending attacks on aleppo. The airstrikes were suspended to prepare for thursdays temporary truce to allow Syrian Rebels to leave aaleppo aleppo. Civilians and militants will be able to safely leave the city. The airstrikes have killed hundreds of people and caused international outrage. A weekend hiking and swimming trip turned deadly for two people of san jose. About 100 miles north of phoenix. Authorities have identified them as patel and patel. Two men who are not related. They were playing near a water fall with family members and friends late saturday afternoon when they disappeared.
