Reporter according to the experts, they say thats because drug users no longer have to turn in a dirty needle in exchange for a clean one. That has led to this problem and crews have been hitting the streets trying to pick up all these dirty syringes. We know it has definitely lead to a big problem. Program managers of say if they can get a clean needle without having to make a trade, addicts are less likely to share syringes. What can i expect . You are going to show us later, a little of your routine, but i have never seen this. For stage shows like this, we do a 15 minute nonstop performance with a medley of songs. It must be an inspiration for you to see these films being produced and when you do watch these, as theys they start to filter and, as you watch them, is it interesting to see what you see through their eyes . It is amazing. So much of it is unfiltered. The whole idea of peace in the street, which is our motto under which we hope to have all over the world, we would love everyone to chant peace in the street. Thats their thing. This is the second year of the festival. We had 70 films of from all over the world this year. The bay tap young man won second place. A young man from ukraine won for the 1 13 category. We are just waiting to see if he got a visa to come to the awards ceremony we have every year at the united nations. Carol, let me ask you, are you surprised by the sheer talent of these young people to make films . Almost seems as if some of these and people have an intuition on how to do this. I think a smartphone really opened up the industry. Its changed the whole its a very egalitarian. Its no longer through a filter. We are building an apt. For the first time, content done years ago, whether you were Martin Luther king are or ringo starr, john lennon, we are working with seven agencies to give us content for that. Well, the big idea of it was to send a message of how social media portrays our community, our Youth Community and how many races are prejudiced. We wanted to portray that in this music video and a showing all these several art forms, such as hiphop, rap and that they can be used by all races and that all races should be portrayed equally. What did you see in your use of social media personally that prompted you to put these messages on film . But did you experience in your life before you made this film . Tough question. I guess i started out with in terms of social media, i really started with facebook and a lot of social media was just seeing what people post. Liking that. I didnt really think about how much it might have affected how i was portrayed as a person. I am half black and half white. I never really thought how that affected how races are per trade.
