And completely devoted to his three young sons and what he called the prettiest woman anywhere. He met and married the most beautiful woman on the planet and it wasnt lip service. Reporter the folks at this gas station in dutch flat know all about that. He used to stop in regularly to check in on them. There was a man that came in one time that was down on his luck and didnt have any money. He was headed to georgia. Nate bought him a ticket and took him to the bus station and sent him to georgia. Reporter flags are now at half staff, black ribbons across officer badges. He is what a Highway Patrol strives to be. The guy the goes the extra mile, the guy that gives the extra effort. For the motorists out there. Thats what were here to do. Reporter among the statements from political leaders came this one from attorney general Kamala Harris that led read in part, this tragedy is a great reminder of the dangers our Law Enforcement officers face each day in service of their communities and our great state. The driver of the suv is a 19 yearold woman. Not clear if she will face charges inside his wife and children, officer taylor is also survived by his parents and two brothers, and frank and julie, one of his brothers is a chp officer in clear lake. Just heartbreaking when you hear about things like this. Have they said anything about Memorial Service for him . A big public ceremony, no word on that yet but officers are coming together tomorrow at the chp office at gold run in the sierra to have a service for him. What i couldnt get over about that piece were the things that people were saying about him. They were so overthetop nice.
