Lieutenant steven floyd died last week during the inmate uprising at James T Vaughn Correctional Center in smyrna. Authorities in Cumberland County are investigating a Police Involved shooting that left one man dead, it happened yesterday afternoon near north freemont in south avenue in bridgeton. The county Prosecutors Office says the officer shot the man after a foot chase, police found a gun near the victim they are not saying why police were chasing him or if he he fired at them.
