Theyve been out surveying the damage in the area. Crews are theyre coordinating crews to get them in and aftereffect repairs. 73, 74 Customers Without Service in this area. I just talked to one man, alan bas, he says it is like a modified camp out almost. It goes on and on but at least hes in his own house. He and the neighbor over here have generators. Peco reports 2300 customers without power. Delmarva reports about 500 outages. New from overnight, a deadly car accident in southWest Philadelphia. Nbc 10 on the scene on island avenue at lindbergh boulevard. Police investigating the accident tell us the car veered off the street and on to trolley tracks. The man who was killed was a passenger. We are working to find out the conditions of the driver and another passenger who were injured. New this morning, police in San Francisco are investigating a shooting that left a man wounded at a gay pride parade. Police detained several people after someone fired shots following an argument. One man was hit in the arm and is in stable condition it happened during a twoday gay pride festival which took on new meaning this year following the supreme courts decision to legalize he samesex marriage across the sglooursu. S. We have new information on the escaped new york inmate who was shot and killed by officials on friday. We are learning that matt once swore if he ever escaped from prison he would not be captured alive. That word from the lawyer who prosecuted matts murder case in 2008. The lawyer said prison snitches revealed the killers pledge. Authorities killed matt three weeks after he and a fellow inmate broke out of a prison in upstate new york. That second inmate david sweat, is still on the loose. More than 1,000 searchers are focusing on the same area where richard matt was killed about 30 miles from the prison. Police are warning those in that area to stay alert believing sweat could be more desperate now that hes alone. Everyone hurt in the shooting is expected to recover. Police believe none of the victims was the intended target. A 10,000 reward has been posted in the case. A father charged in a deadly crash is asking for leniency. Police say he allowed his underage daughter to drive his car in which three bucks county teenagers were killed. Michael ware of scarsdale, new york is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and other offenses stemming from that crash last september. He is asking to have the most serious charges dropped. The Court Hearing is set for tuesday. Authorities say wares 15yearold daughter was driving his suv in the poconos when it overturned killing the three victims who were students at Council Rock South high school. Escaped prison inmate david sweat is still on the loose this morning in upstate new york. More than 1,000 officers are now searching thick woods, about 30 miles from the prison where sweat and his accomplice escaped three weeks ago. Officers shot and killed that accomplice, richard matt, on friday. Matt once swore that if he ever escaped from prison he would not be captured alive.
