Police have been stationed outside the womans taped off apartment along with hazmat teams that will begin disposal and decontamination work later this morning. Now, doctors say their colleague apparently only came into contact with one other person while she may have been sick, and that person has been isolated and is being monitored, but they also warn the breach in hospital protocol could eventually mean that more Health Care Workers could test positive for the virus. Nbc 10 was on street road in bensalem as firefighters worked to put out the fire at the bucks counsel at the dance center that started just after 4 30 this morning. Heavy fire was seen in the back of the building. One firefighter suffered a minor injury. And fire officials are trying to figure out what caused this row house fire in west philadelphia. Crews were called out to harlan street around 1 30 this morning. Now, everyone inside this homemade it out safely. A woman is dead after crashing her car in northeast philadelphia. This happened after midnight on willits road near welsh road. Place say she lost control of the car, slammed into a parked car, and then overturned. The 29yearold was thrown out of the drivers side window. She died at that scene. The manhunt for eric frein now enters its fifth week and officers hope the weather could play in their favor. Frein has been on the run since september 12th when investigators say he shot and killed a state trooper and injured a second trooper. Hundreds of officers had been searching the woods for frein focusing in an area around his paren parents home. This morning weve learned a 20yearold student has been arrested for allegedly making an online threat at penn state university. Our sister station in johnstown reports the student admitted to posting a threatening message about a shooting. The student will be arraigned today. Storm after storm dumped snow and ice on our roads, but for people at penndot, they remember it all too well. Whats the tone in there as we head into winter . I think the tone is no one wants to see a repeat of last winter. Everyone is hoping for a milder winter that we had two years ago or three years ago. Greg allen aaroncheck maryland who is a gastroanterologist. Hes done quite a lot in his career. Well be honoring him. Hell be getting the humanitarian award this year. Every year the friends of the American Cancer Society focuses on one specific cancer, an aspect of cancer of some program of some type. So this year its going to be assisting all the programs that the American Cancer Society has that assists patients and their loved ones in their emotional and mental issue that is they deal with as they go through their diagnosis. Just real quick before we go, i know youre so involved with this every year, but it also has a special meaning to you. Share a little bit of that. Of course. My mother, barbara masso, who was everything to me, lost her about five years ago to her battle for cancer, about you she dealt with it about 15 years ago, 10 years prior, so i had an association to all of the tough things that go along with dealing with being a caregiver for a loved one, and she was cancerfree and so i got involved through a client of mine, Beverly Goldberg and mom came down with cancer again and in five years she lost the battle. Here comes another batch of showers just to the southwest, and these are just starting to move into lancaster and extreme southwestern chester county. Newcastle will get a few rain drops. Were seeing some breaks in the clouds to the south and that is going to be breaking and coming our way, but probably not before sunset for most of the area. Might see some lateday sunshine in delaware before the sun sets this evening. Temperatures are climbing. 62 in northeast philadelphia. Chester springs is at 61. Holding in the upper 50s or quakertown and pottstown but new jersey is in the 60s and most of delaware has moved into the 60s. Newark still behind at 59 degrees. If not well have to wait until this evening to see the clouds break. Tomorrow well start off with lots of clouds, possibly areas of clouds, too. The clouds will push to the north and with the clouds will go the chances of showers to areas north and west tomorrow, but look at the temperatures. 4 00 tomorrow afternoon, we will be flirting with the 80 degree mark later tomorrow. For today though, it will be 60s. Cloudy skies, occasional light showers. Tomorrow is the warmup to near 80. After clouds to start with, well see breaks of sunshine in the afternoon and get some sunshine before clouds return on wednesday, and wednesday we could be up to that 80 degree mark once again, but wednesday night plan on more wet weather and possibly some thunderstorms to start thursday off before skies clear. Investigators trying to figure out exactly how a Health Care Worker in texas became infected with ebola. That worker treated ebola patient Thomas Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian hospital. He died last week. The investigation focused on two areas, how the worker removed her protective gear and what procedures performed on duncan could have led to expoexposure.
