This water main break on roosevelt shut down all lanes yesterday and all but one lane is open this morning. Jesse gary is live with more on the status of the work there. Reporter tracy, crews will return later this morning to try to finish the job of replacing a section of the 16inch pipe that failed. That break in the transmission main made a watery muddy mess for commuters yesterday. All lanes of the boulevard at bluegrass road were closed due to flooding and debris on the roadway. The only vehicles out for most of the morning were frontend loaders and street sweepers clearing the mess. The Water DepartmentOfficials Say seasonal temperatures lead to this type of problem. This time of year the Water Department sees the highest number of water main breaks. The cold temperatures are usually the culprit. Reporter this break is not impacting commercial or residential crews or customers. Crews hope to finish repairs later today. Coming up later today, they have to do more lane closures. Right now they have one northbound lane on the inner lane closed. And the others are all open but coming up next hour ill explain what they have to do to finish the job. And happening today, a local High School Football coach will face dui charges in court. Joseph gallagher has a formal arraignment following his arrest last november. The longtime haverford coach was drunk when he left the scene of a crash in prospect park. He took a leave of absence from the Football Team but is still a fulltime teacher. In the atlantic casino crisis a bankruptcy judge could decide today if revel can keep the 10 million deposit from the developer who wanted to buy the property. Revel was set to sale to developer glenn straub for 95 but yesterday the casino canceled the deal after the failed deadline monday night. Today straub will ask the Bankruptcy Court to extend the deadline. And police in san diego arrested this man suspected of shooting a tv sports anchor. Hes accused of wounding kyle kraska in the driveway of kraskas home yesterday. Thats his vehicle there with the back window shot out. He is expected to recover. Police have not said if he knew his attacker. And this morning the search up continues for a man who police say preyed on a woman to stop and ask for directions at a center city septa station. A scary story here with the 27yearold woman lost and asked this man for help inside the jefferson station. Investigators say the man walked with her into the track area and pulled her into a secluded spot where he beat her and sexually assaulted her. Septa riders we spoke with said hearing about the attack makes them question their own safety. Am i safe . Thats the question. If nobody else is with me one day, im by myself. Am i safe . Im not sure. This morning the victim is out of the hospital and recovering back at home. And six years later the search continues for a man who murdered a bucks county lawyer outside his office. It was on this day in 2009 eric burnbomb shows up at his office in North Hampton county and talking to his secretary in the parking lot when someone walks up behind him shooting him in the back of the head. The secretary didnt get a good look at the gunman and investigators dont know why the attorney was targeted. Ten years after the disappearance of a philadelphia couple, the fbi is taking another look at the case. Richard petrone jr. And Danielle Imbo vanished after having drinks with a friend on february 19, 2005. The fbi is now adding more resources and more man hours on the case. They are hoping new leads will be uncovered or old leads may reveal something new. Investigators say petrones black 2001 black dodge dakota was never found. One bill would require Health Care Coverage for people transitioning through hormone therapy or surgery. And that would apply to students using locker rooms, restrooms and playing sports. And bryn mawr Womens College announced a decision to expand and clarify their admissions policy for transgender students. Today Governor Wolf is kicking off a statewide schools that teach tour in chester county. The governor will be in thorndale this morning to talk about his severance tax proposal for natural gas drilling. The governor said that tax could generate many rn 1 billion this year and be reinvested in public education. Meantime, he also says he will fight to raise the states minimum wage. Yesterday the governor said passage of a higher minimum wage bill will be his new priority in harrisburg. The proposed law would increase the hourly rate from 7. 25 to 10. 10 an hour. This would happen over a twoyear period and the move will help the economy. And a minimum wage in pennsylvania has been 7. 25 an hour for years. In new jersey its 8. 28. And in delaware it will go to 8. 25 on june 1st. Happening today, new Jersey Governor Chris Christie will meet with chinas ambassador to the u. S.
