It was certainly a long road to get here, but this is the beginning of the process of changing the narrative of poverty in our city. The homeowner went back inside, retrieved the weapon. Reporter after the crash, that homeowner pulls out a gun and fires at the suspect who tries to run away. The homeowner shot him once in the arm. Reporter meantime, shop owners are cleaning up a big mess. Bounced off of this wall and crushed into that tree and pieces of the car flew all the way right in front of my shop. Reporter diane questions why that homeowner would open fire in a busy intersection. Its a little surprising this guy jumped in his car with a gun and chased down the person. Were live outside the courthouse. What can you tell us . Reporter what those lawyers were meeting about was not made public. There were two separate long meetings. In todays nbc10 responds, a local family is frustrated after they were told a faulty water line in their fridge could not be mixed. After the family heard from the company, they just werent happy about it. We have their story. When i came down the other morning, i opened it and nothing worked. Barbara brady says a broken refrigerator was the last thing she needed. She says by the time she found out it was out of commission, all of her food was unfit to eat and her daughters medicine was ruined. I was shocked. I hoped the refrigerator, everything was warm. Reporter she immediately called sears. Thats where she purchased the refrigerator nearly four years ago. Brady says a repairman came that day, but he didnt have the parts to fix the fridge.
