Villanova continues their march to victory. Yeah, team holding its first practice today. They get ready for the final four. John clarks joining us from houston. John, for one player on the team this final four has turned into kind of a family affair. Reporter yeah, this is a story about brotherly love, and it really could be a moochie scent. Three years ago in high school kris jenkins and north Carolinas Nate brit, they were watching villanova face North Carolina in the National Championship game. Actually not the National Chance game but in the tournament. And this weekend if they both win on saturday, they could play each other in the National Championship. This is quite a story. They are not blood brothers. They became brothers when chriss mom felt he wasnt in the right crowd in south carolina. She sent him to live with nate brits family in maryland, in sixth grade. Nate senior was a hoops coach and chriss mom felt the brits would provide a more stable environment for him. It was tough at first but you know, the brits, they accepted me and the whole family just made me feel so welcome and they accepted me for who i was, and elevated me as a person and made me better. And its something that im always thankful for. I thank god for it every day. I cant imagine, had to be extremely hard on him but i think he adapted pretty well. The bros became basketball bffs. On the same aau and High School Teams and extremely competitive. We hate to lose more than we like winning. So thats it right there. Now, they have both made it to College Basketballs biggest stage. The final four. A dream they had as kids. We talk a great deal about it and we just making sure that you know, we both stay focused. I dont think we ever thought this would happen, this possibility would be real. Imagine if they both win saturday, they would play each other for the National Championship. Where are all of the parents going to sit . Thats a great question. They probably wont come to the game. No, im kidding. You know, i dont know. They would have to find a neutral area. Reporter yeah, chris came back to philly after advancing to the final four, he surprised nate by sitting behind North Carolinas bench when he made it to the final four. And now bro bragging rights could be on the line monday night if they both reach the National Championship game. John clark live in houston. Well hear from villanova about the final four coming up at 6 00. See you then. A little bit of a tough situation. A lot to celebrate. I love that story. We asked our political expert p that coming up next. All new on nbc 10 news at 6 00, the Technology Upgrades coming to amtrak. How they will keep passengers connected. Now to decision 2016. Today Hillary Clinton criticized Donald Trumps comments on abortion and she criticized Bernie Sanders for calling the remarks a distraction from serious issues. Protesters interrupted her speech several times today in new york. They have always said yes. I know the bernie people came to say that were very sorry youre leaving. Clinton usually doesnt call out the protesters at her rallies but today she did and as you could hear her supporters were behind her. Democratic president ial hopeful Bernie Sanders made his First Campaign stop in pennsylvania today, Sanders Holding this morning rally in down town pittsburgh where his supporters began lining up before dawn. Joining us with a closer look at the race for the white house, is shawna, an assistant profe professor at rutgers camden. Thanks for joining us this afternoon. So, lets start with donald trump. Some call this the worst week of his campaign so far. But trump has come back from a lot of bad publicity before. But a lot of anger about his abortion comments even from antiabortion advocates. Does this fade away or continue to hurt him . I think this one hurts for a long time to come. What hes been trying to do is appeal to nonparty identified voters, especially democrats which he would need to win in the fall. And this level of total political unawareness and even misogyny i think will hurt him. Shawna, obviously he is the frontrunner. If he gets the nomination talk to us what we know in terms of the polls how hell stack up against Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in a general election. So, right now what were seeing is that either of them look like they could beat him in a general election. The polls are fluctuating now because it is not a realistic enough proposition for good polling data right now. And because we still have trump and even to some extent kasich in the race its hard for people who are in the gop to have made a final choice yet. I dont think we can trust the polling data exactly. But i do think that with his recent comments this week and particularly the gender comments and about abortion he will have a hard time beating particularly a woman in the general election. Still relatively early in the process, shawna, thanks for being here today. Thank you for having me. Lester holt is joining us from the nbc studios in new york city. Whats coming up on nightly news . Were gathering late details on the deadly shootout at a virginia bus station that sent people fleeing and left a trooper badly wounded. The stars of the womens soccer team are calling for equal pay. And frozen in time, how couples are donating embryos left from invitro procedures, its all coming up at 6 30. Back to you now. Well see you then. Thanks, lester. En a update on your first alert weather. Here is Sheena Parveen. Warm and windy today and its going to be like that tomorrow too. Except it is going to come with rain so take the umbrella before you head out on your friday for the morning commute. Even tonight warm, windy, winds gusting near 30 Miles Per Hour right now but as we go through tomorrow we can even see some wind and thunderstorms so we have rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for your friday. Now, its still going to be mild or warm tomorrow i should say, in the 70s, into the weekend we get a colder air mass moving in so you will notice a difference over your weekend. Were near 70 in allentown, 73. 72 in wilmington and glassboro so a warm evening in the forecast for the area. And as we go through the next several hours, we really arent going to cool down much so. Warm overnight. Most of the area will be staying in the 60s, some spots could be in the upper 50s north and west. We could see light rain showers try to move in overnight tonight. Locally though, no rain, not yet. Just overcast skies. The closest rain is to our west now starting to move into maryland but the brunt of all of this wet weather, thats going to be here tomorrow so. What you see moving into ohio and down through parts of the south, thats our rain for tomorrow. And some of that could be starting as early as the morning commute for you. So heres a look at future weather tonight. We keep seeing the clouds move in, some light showers possible, overnight tonight, then for the morning commute heres 8 00 in the morning. So if you leave at 8 00, through the lee high value and the poconos you could see showers around, some could be thunderstorms for the rest of the area, temperatures around 70 degrees, a chance of showers, and then as we get closer to lunch time a chance for thunderstorms, temperatures warming into mid70s. We could have a line trying to form through the Lehigh Valley but well be watching that closely. Even by 4 00 p. M. Tomorrow we could have a line of showers, maybe thunderstorms moving through thor a and into new jersey before we finally start to clear out. More as we go into your friday evening. So friday evening, looking better than the first half of the day friday. Then we go into saturday, heres 5 00 saturday morning we have rain, then it will move back into new jersey and delaware so the best chance of saturday morning rain will lie south of philadelphia, 9 00 a. M. Saturday you still see the rain in new jersey and delaware, then we finally do start to clear out more as we go into your sunday. Thats when temperatures will start to drop off. For tonight, 57 for the low in allentown, 60 in pottstown. 62 philadelphia. Were going to be mild overnight. Mild and windy we could see a chance of some late showers, moisture overnight. Then tomorrow, that rain chance is going to be increasing especially starting with the morning commute into the middle of the day, around lunch time. Temperatures from 76 to possibly 79 degrees. Now well be watching if the rain starts to cool things down. Its going to be a warm end to your week. Dont forget the umbrella. In new jersey and delaware well want it handy saturday morning, sunday colder and windy, morning lows in the 30s, afternoon highs sunday only in the 40s. Upper 40s, then we go into monday, a round of rain moves in later monday evening, and some of that could be a wintry mix early tuesday. Couple more months, then summer will be here. Just in time.
