goal. >> kenny: clarke macarthur who missed nearly two full seasons, was about to retire, came back and scored a big goal in game 2. he scores the series winner for the ottawa senators after missing geological survey confirms to nbc 10 it was a 2.3 magnitude earthquake and to put that in perspective the usgs says it's the equivalent of a passing truck. other news tonight, another deadly crash on the boulevard has claimed the life of a 69-year-old man. it happened in northeast philadelphia in the southbound lanes at the intersection of roosevelt boulevard and smiley road. and that's where nbc 10's drew smith is live tonight with the latest developments on the police investigation. drew? >> police tell us that this guy was not in the crosswalk. you can see there's a sign that warns people not to go across here and on the other side of the street there's a memorial for somebody else who just died here, a sign that this road is a very deadly place to be driving or walking. police reopened roosevelt boulevard southbound after investigating for more than two hours. you can see the dent in this suv, plus shattered windshield glass where a 69-year-old man made impact. >> we heard a big boom and then when we came out the fire engines, rescue and police were there. >> reporter: neighbors were saddened to hear that the man did not survive. >> it is dangerous because ever since the bus stopped running there and since they talk the walkway down. >> reporter: a witness shared this photo of a rollover crash in the same spot just last week. a memorial is still on the sidewalk for the dead. plus a couple of blocks away two more people died in a boulevard wreck earlier this month. neighbors say both drivers and people who choose to jaywalk need to make some changes. >> should people just ignore the sign? >> all the time. walk up the sidewalk here and then they will go just straight across. >> reporter: the driver did stay here on the scene. police have now towed that car out of here. we're live in northeast philadelphia. i'm drew smith, nbc 10 news. >> thanks, drew. developing story out of delaware county. septa service on newark regional rail is suspended after someone was hit by a train in prospect park this afternoon. now police say the line will remain closed until they are finished investigating. and now to another developing story. this one out of camden county where a body was found floating in the cooper river. fire officials responded to the seen near admiral wilson and baird boulevards after someone called 911. the investigation is still in its beginning stages. more traffic trouble start tomorrow as we tick closer to the nfl draft. taking a live look amount the art museum steps which has been transformed into the stage for the draft. now take a look at tomorrow's closures. what is highlighted in red will be clothed. the inner and outer lanes of the parkway down to 20th street will close. also parts of spring garden street, mlk and kelly drive will also be impacted. the draft which begins this thursday has been impacting traffic for three weeks now and the traffic troubles will not end until may 7th. nbc 10 has more on what to expect tomorrow. >> reporter: denise, drivers have gotten used to seeing these fences and barriers all along the parkway and starting tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. they will see even more of the road closed signs forcing drivers to detour. the nfl draft stage has been taking shape for week transforming the steps of the art museum. >> it's kind of amazing. >> reporter: police cars and orange barrels already ryan the ben franklin parkway and on monday at 7:00 p.m. three of the street closures go into effect further restricting traffic in this area. >> reporter: well, my plan is to get away from this area. i'm going to try to park closer to center city and then walk to location here. >> reporter: by it's morning drivers will have to avoid the area all together. the city says expect delays and backups. it's the price residents have to pay for the city to be in the national spotlight. >> i mean, i think everything that it's bringing to the city far outweighs any amount of traffic issues that are going to occur so i think it will be fine. >> reporter: starting first thing tomorrow morning septa will be re-right some more of its buses that usually go through the area so the advice is to check the schedule and allow yourself a little bit more time. reporting live along the parkway, aundreacline-thomas. >> and now let's get a look ahead to the forecast for this week. >> temperatures topped out at 66 degrees in philadelphia so slightly below the average of 67. current temperature 62 degrees. the winds are strong right now coming out of the south. we're seeing developing clouds as a system and some showers are developing. notice clouds moving in from south to north and a wider perspective. here's why. this area of high pressure really has been helping us out all day long so we did see a mostly sunny sunday in the forecast, and now we're tracking this area of low pressure and all that rain headed in our direction so we'll have a soggy start to the workweek and temperatures below normal. hour by hour, however, showing that the clouds are developing from south to north but the good news is showers don't get here until later tomorrow morning so i do not think that's going to affect the monday morning commute. coming up in just a bit, we're going to talk about 80s making a comeback thursday through saturday. denise, back to you. >> nearly two-thirds of americans are giving the president low marks for his first 100 days. that's according to a new nbc news/"wall street journal" poll out this morning. now only about 14% said he had a great start with nearly half the people saying he hasn't done well. despite the poll numbers, president trump faces a challenging week. a budget is needed by saturday, his 100th day in office, or the government could shut down. also this week, congress will try again to replace obamacare. a 1 is hundred-day campaign promise, but his administration saying that if it doesn't happen this week it's not the end of the world. >> it's a marathon, not a sprint, so we're hopeful for this week, but, again, it's not something that has to happen in order -- in order to define our success. >> priebus added that he's optimist being that a government shutdown will be avoided. make sure to stay with nbc 10 all week long as we get red for the president's trip to pennsylvania next weekend to mark his 100th day in office. a pleasant day for nbc 10 softball and opening day for the city of brotherly love softball league. the mayor was on and for today's festivities. on top of celebrating the league, the mayor took the opportunity to deliver a message about the tone in the country right now. >> this country obviously is going through a major crisis, both i think a soul crisis and a governmental crisis, and cities are going to be placed where we maintain our sensibility and we maintain our sanity. >> the mayor also presented the community service award to the aclu of pennsylvania. hundreds of children battling serious illnesses, disabilities and injuries enjoyed a cruise along the delaware river this morning. it was part of the 15th annual kellyn dolan memorial fun cruise. 425 philadelphia-area kids and their families were treated to lunch and live entertainment on the water. >> we're excited to dance, and we're excited to see the clowns and eat. >> it's so nice that they do this cruise for everybody, and our kids really love it, and it's just such a great thing that they do to give back to the families. >> the fund provides financial assistance to families caring for sick children. and hundreds of
