A friend and Family Member alerted him of the amber alert and he turned himself in. How is she doing . She is doing very well. She a happy little fouryearold girl that seems in good health and luckily doesnt realize whats going on. Reporter investigators in virginia tell us the little girl left charlotte, virginia with her father last wednesday. Richardson and his mother have both been charged with fugitive from justice. The chief declines to release further details. We have learned an extradition hearing being sent for both of them today or tomorrow. Monique braxton, nbc 10 news. An investigation is underway in Burlington County where a 37yearold woman was hit in the head with a baseball bat and a stabbed. The victim was attacked just before midnight in mount holly. The woman is in critical condition. Police say they identified a possible suspect and this appears to be a case of domestic violence. Philadelphia Police Looking for two men in a deadly shooting outside a chinese restaurant. Calls for help came in at 18th aena and ridge avenue. Two men were chasing two other men. At least 13 shots were fired at close range. One man was killed. There is no sign of the other victim. New this morning, fire damages a school in north wales. One building was damaged by the flames. The school is closed for the day. Investigators are searching for the cause of the fire. Josh huff is expected in Camden County court to face drug and weapons charges. They pulled him over two weeks ago. They say he admitted to having marijuana, handgun and bullet in the car. Huff is licensed to carry a car in his native texas but not in new jersey where he lives. In philadelphia nurses are picketing today outside three different area hospitals. This was a scene this morning. 2,300 nurses are in contract negotiations. Big issues are staffing levels, pay and benefits. Hospitals say they are continuing to bargain with the union. We are drying out and warming up today. Its not going to be one of those days where it gradually warms up through the day and just because we are well in the 50s now it is just going to be staying kind of flat. The wind is up there. We are a touch above average. Summerton at 58 degrees. At the shore yesterday and last night Atlantic City 61 with increasing sunshine. The type of hearing loss one can aware from listening to these is typically called noise induced hearing loss. It is a combination of how long, how loud and how frequently youre listening. It is important we give this information to children of all ages and type of messaging we provide is when they are preteen versus a teenager. A fouryearold virginia girl is safe in our area after an amber alert was issued to help find the child and her father. The little girls father is in police custody. Monique braxton joins us live from monroe township. Reporter hi. We did speak to the police chief. He says the little girl, the subject of the amber alert arrived here at Police Headquarters with her father. Investigators also tell us it was about 5 00 this morning when Dylan Richard son walked in. He turned himself in. Investigators say richardson and his mother are both now in custody. His mother, who was also a w wanted person in connection to this case was apprehended. Reporter why was she wanted . Because she was apparently involved in some fashion in the transfer of the child. Reporter now, police also say the little girl left with her father last wednesday. Richardson has family here in south jersey. When we asked how the little girl is doing we are told she is happy and no idea she was the subject of an amber alert. Police say right now they are trying to schedule a waiver or some sort of extradition hearing so that both of them can be with sheriffs deputies back in virginia. Live now in monroe township, nbc 10 news. Now to break news out of utah. Police are investigating a stabbing at a high school. It is about 45 minutes south of salt lake city. Water restrictions could be coming to new jersey soon because of drought conditions. The Water Reservoir in north jersey is now only half full. It is the major source of drinking water. It is extremely low. A reservoir was also declared in danger. Now another reservoir is running low. If a water emergency is declared car washes would have to shut down. Water would only be served as restaurants when requested. A plan in the works far huge expansion to the tune of 90 million. They want to add a new gaming floor and additional restaurant space. Youll want to know about this stuff before hand and how to prepare beforehand. Some of it will be coming later. We have a little bit of sunshine out there. The clouds continue to thin. Its going to be very helpful here because its a little chilly when the sun is behind the clouds. Now, we can see those clouds thinning outside the station. Temperatures 61 in wilmington and 59 in dover. One of the coolest spots, 53 in trenton. They have a little more rain than other parts of the area. Where we are, in northeast philly, 58 degrees. We are at philadelphia mills mall. It used to be known as Franklin Mills mall. There is the area of rain. Some of it is real heavy. It is moving away from us. Sit curving around a little bit going into lower new york state and moving out of our area. We have a few sprinkles in North Hampton county. Futurecast shows rain continuing to move away we could have used a little more rain. We are getting a lot of sunshine during the day tomorrow and then we are going to be seeing more sunshine thursday and into friday. There we are with the neighborhood forecast. Redding at 59 degrees. We are going to be visiting you this week and also in allentown before this is overwith. We will be seeing pretty nice weather conditions over the rest of the day and the rest of the week. As we go into the ten day forecast well be seeing temperatures above average. The average high is about 57 or 58 degrees now. So we are above average for the rest of the week. We are pretty much dry for the rest of the week. Look what happens on sunday. Saturday fair amount of sunshine and 63 and then sunday we have got a pretty strong system in the upper atmosphere. It could really change showers. We are not talking about thick storm or anything. It has been fairly mild so far this season.
