The falling debris not only damaged the home but damaged parked cars. The couple who lived here said they heard a loud noise before escaping. You heard it. Its boom, go boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, and everything was on us. Reporter the couple told us this home now a rubble has been in the family for year. The adjacent home is owned by the philadelphia housing authority. They plan to demolish that stricture later tomorrow. Theyre assisting the family involved. Two philadelphia officers have minor injuries after a crash. They were in an unmarked car at g street and erie avenue when they were hit from behind. In the past ten minutes we learned that the scene had been cleared and the road is now reopened. Police are searching for the driver of a dark sedan with heavy front end damage. Were following breaking news in Allegheny County in western pennsylvania where police are searching for suspects in a mass shooting that left five people dead. This is where four of the victims died. Another died at the hospital. The shooting left three others wounded. This is about a sixhour drive in the borough of wilkinsburg. Thats in pittsburgh. Heres a reason to the police radio call. Weve got reported of at least four people shot in wilkinsburg. Six people down. Six people down. Police say the shots rang out during a backyard cookout. Investigators say it appears two different gunmen fired the shots. It looks like right now they were all fleeing toward the back door of the residence when the second gunman fired from the side of the yard and they all seemed to get caught on the back porch. No one is in custody at this point and theres no word on a possible motive. Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting of a teenager in a wheelchair in west oak lane. Police report 11 shootings or stabbings over the last two days and as you can see theyre spread around the city. The most recent victim, an 18yearold was in a wheelchair in front of his home when he was shot. This happened around 8 15 last night on limekiln street. Police recovers three shell casings feet away from the empty wheelchair. That he would get shot, its a total mystery to me. Why he would shoot someone whos pretty defenseless in a wheelchair. In another case of violence in philadelphia, one of the victims of a double shooting is a teenager and an innocent bystander. That teen was hit when another shooting happened in mantua. One of those men fired a shot. The other took a bullet to the head. That person is in critical condition. A 16yearold was hit in the knee and the arm and is now recovering. Witnesses say when this shooting began, the street was filled with children. Some children were upset. Parents were rushing them to their friends house so they could be you know, calm down, relax a little. This Morning Police are still looking for the shooter. Happening today, a man accused of ambushing a Philadelphia Police officers and shooting him three times at point blank range is scheduled to appear in court. Right now the American Red Cross is assisting two families, nine people in all. We asked lni if theyve received complaints about it. The commissioner did get back to us while you were sleeping.
