Consumer advocate Erin Brockovich is holding a Community Meeting in horsham to talk about the next step for neighbors impacted by tainted drinking water. They decided to put Filtration Systems into some of the townships public wells and buy water from north wales. The council wants the navy to pay for it. A Folcroft Police officer shot seven times is recovering at home this morning. Squad cars from across Delaware County followed officer Christopher Dorman from the hospital to the Folcroft Fire Company said. The 25yearold had volunteered there since he was a teenager. We didnt know what it was. Reporter rhonda says that boom came while she was sitting in the living room with her family. By the time we looked at each other and we said, what is that, we heard another boom. Reporter barrows says she saw a peco transformer had exploded and caught firec. A live wire fell into her hedges, setting them ablaze. I told my husband we have to get out the of the house. Reporter police and fire arrived, peco cut the pour and the family got out safely. Months later, she showed us the damage to her hedges. Theyre charred. Reporter they filed a claim back in april. When i put through the claim they told me it would be done within two weeks. Reporter two weeks turned into months. She says she called peco five times before she called nbc 10 responds. I saw you on tv and i said, let me call harry and see what i can do for me. We reached out to peco and the next day they repaired the sidewalk. Peco has already put a claim through to replace her hedges free of charge.
