Now to some new video of Philadelphia Police leading a man out of frankford creek. Because he was trying to get away from officers. Nbc 10 was the only station on the scene. Police tell us the man was driving erratically on torresdale avenue when officers began to follow him. And ran into the creek. A marine unit had to pull him out of the water. Authorities say the man now faces possible charges of dui, drug possession and eluding police. Get ready for another day of outdoor music and fun in center city, philadelphia. This is time lapse video of 70,000 people crowding the ben franklin parkway yesterday. Today will be a similar picture. This afternoon is the second and final day of the made in america festival. Nbc 10s jesse gary is live along the parkway. Youre finding more than a celebration of a threeday weekend. Reporter thats right. We all love the threeday weekend that comes with labor day, but how many pause to think about the significance of the holiday. A couple concert crew members did just that. They unfurled this American Flag as a salute to the workers who labor day in and day out to make this republic great. It is displayed inside the made in america grounds. Scott russell, the man on the right, he says the flag has s t sentimental meaning since it was placed on his fathers coughing. This is actually his burial flag. I took it out in memory of him and all the membfallen members this nation. That flag will fly in front of roughly 70,000 concertgoers. Part of the proceeds of the event go to the united way. The closing act starts at 9 30 tonight. After that, the cleanup and deconstruction of all of this will begin. This weekend Rutgers University has removed five players from its Football Team following their arrests earlier this week. Four players are charged with aggravated assault in connection with a fight that left a man with a broken jaw. Another player is charged with two Home Invasion robberies. One suspect is from coatesville, another is from egg harbor township. The university has also suspended those players. Lets head to chester county. This is all thats left of several townhomes that caught fire yesterday. The American Red Cross is helping more than a dozen people. Flames ripped through three townhomes on armstrong lane in phoenixville yesterday. A viewer sent us this video of flames and black smoke shooting into the sky. Investigators are working to determine the cause of this blaze. More viewer video from Montgomery County where a car burst into flames. The fire here spread to three other vehicles. This happened in the parking lot of the towers at wyncote apartments. Nobody was hurt. A police dog from berks county being treated in philadelphia is doing better, but hes still in intensive care. The dog named cody was helping officers check a school for intruders when he fell more than 15 feet from a catwalk. The canine was flown to the pennsylvania veterinary hospital because of concerns of internal bleeding. The vets there are optimistic about his recovery. Thousands of migrants who fled their troubled homelands have made it to austria and germany. More than 7,000 people fleeing war in syria, iraq and afghanistan surged across hungarys western border yesterday. Once in germany, well wishers welcomed the migrants with signs and supplies. Some came into the country by train or bus, others walked the final stretch across the border. In canada this weekend, family, friends and strangers gathered to remember who little syrian refugee boys and their mother who drowned when their boat capsized off the coast of turkey.
