It happened yesterday, easter sunday. We just got a photo of the victim, 74yearold Robert Godwin. Walking down the sidewalk, minding his own business. The suspect picked him as random and opened fire. We should warn you that the video youre about to see is graphic and upsetting. This morning, the city of cleveland is on high alert. Police and the fbi scrambling to find this man, suspected of posting video on facebook that shows an execution in broad daylight, and claims to be responsible of other murders. Im going to kill this guy. Reporter the video shows the suspect, identified by police, as Steve Stephens, getting out of his car and telling his victim hes going to die because of a woman. Yeah. Shes the reason that this is going to happen to you. Reporter stephens raises a handgun at the man and fires a single shot. Before the murder, he describes the motive on his facebook page. I lost everything. I lost everything i had, man. Reporter claiming a woman he was dating is responsible for making him snap, blaming her for his alleged crimes. The people im going to kill today, its easter sunday, its not my first. Reporter but the suspect makes chilling claims that hes killed others, yet his claims have yet to be verified. What happened today is senseless. And if steve has an issue, he needs to talk to some folks to get that resolved. Reporter Law EnforcementOfficials Say they have not located any additional shooting scenes or bodies and are asking stephens to reach out to clergy or family for help. We ask him to turn himself in. Today, a new one. Attorneys for kennedy cousin michael sakele says a new piece of evidence can blow this case wideopen. Attorneys for Michael Skakel, the nephew of robert f. Kennedy and his widow, ethel, say there would be a new murder weapon in the killing of Martha Moxley. And theyre trying to track it down. This finding is huge. It could singlehandedly exculpate Michael Skakel. Reporter this focuses on a golf club handle, allegedly turned over to police in 1999. According to skakels attorney, a report was never filed. If its a golf club handle that fits the other pieces of the golf club thats in evidence, and not the handle that the state suspected, theyve had the case wrong for decades. Reporter 15yearold Martha Moxley was found beaten to death with a golf club in 1975. Skakel and moxley were neighbors in greenwich, connecticut. The missing piece of evidence was at the home where skakel and friends were watching television on the night moxley was killed. Defense attorneys say it could disprove prosecutors claims that the club used to kill moxley belonged to the skakel family. Now, in court documents, skakels attorneys argue they need to interview three witnesses they think can shed new details on them. Among them, barbara w. , who the defense says found the golf club on the property of skakels alibi, who managed the room and died last month. The defense says, they immediately went to the Greenwich Police department, expressing a concern their finding may be related to the moxley murder case, providing evidence to the duty officer, along with detailed explanations. The key case isnt who testifies, who skakels attorney was arguing. But whether or not this physical evidence would change anything if we learn more about it. This is truly marthas day. Reporter skakel was convicted in 2002 of murdering moxley. Im going to set a bond of 1,200,000. Hes been free on bond since 2013 when his conviction was overturned, when he argued his lawyer didnt defend him in the original case. The Supreme Court reinstated his conviction late last year. A nfew months early, matt talke to Robert Kennedy jr. What people should be sur sueded by is the facts. Thats one of the pitfalls of this epic story from the beginning. Reporter skakel has always maintained his innocence. What i can do is what i do every day, is pray to god and to martha, that whatever did this crime is brought to justice. But i think that shes the puzzle piece. When they first handed me haley, i was scared to tohold her. And the minute she was in my arms, it was a perfect fit. I always had a feeling inside that i wanted a baby, but i thought it was too late. I was divorced. And i had cancer. You think, okay. I dont get everything and its okay. And then, all of a sudden you look around and go, why not me . And it just kept gnawing at me. And one day, i said to joel, i want to ask you something. And i said, and this is a big deal, i want you to think about it. I dont want you to answer right away. I said, i would like to explore adoption with you. And he said, i dont need a minute. Im in. When i look at her, like i see forever, i see past me, past i see, like the future, which i guess i never saw. I want her to know that she is loved by me, by family. And by everyone who has held her. We have joy the baker, who is the author of over easy joy. You had me at brown butter banana doughnuts. Make the recipe. Lets talk about the ingredients. Making banana bread in my family is a competitive sport. I had to bring my agame. Were starting with classic banana bread ingredients. I use butter milk for a nice moisture. But the secret to my banana bred is browned butter. Browned butter differs from burned butter how sno browned butter is a step before burnt butter. As it melts down, the milk solids begin to caramelize and brown. Theyre nutty and fragrant. That adds a nice depth to the butter. That takes about how long . About five minutes. We have the browned butter here. This is going to go into our doughnuts, obviously. But start by making the dry ingredients. This is flour. Im going to have you add the spices and the leavening and salt. We have cinnamon and nutmeg and baking powder and sugar. Thats sugar. Were not messing around. Give that a whisk. Ill start to bring together the wet ingredients. Our brown butter here. Are these mashed bananas. Were going to take your overripe bananas. You may have been overzealous at the Grocery Store. You can mash them and make them doughnuts. Why dont you use the same whisk and get in here. Thats brown butter bananas. Two eggs. A little bit of vanilla extract. You have great whisking techniques. You should see me with scrambled eggs. And do some butter milk, too. And this wet batter is going to go right into the dry ingredients. Ill let you do that. Do that here. Guys downstairs, hoda, you came back to doughnuts. Oh, my god. How do you get that much banana flavor into this . Im into this muffin. What is this . Thats next. Dont jump ahead. I did, sorry. So, after a very good stir, this is our batter. And youre going to bake these doughnuts, not fry them. Youre starting to lose me here. I love fried doughnuts. So do i. Theres Nothing Better than fried doughnuts expect this. And some people are intimidated by hot oil. If you dont have a doughnut pan, you can dollop this into a waffle machine. How long . 350 for ten minutes. Well show what they look like coming out in a few seconds. Savannah were going to ice them. Yes. Were going to ice them. I made a crumb topping because i wanted to this is the crisp crumb topping on top of the glaze. Just a little crunchy bite without using nuts. Here is our glaze and our finished baked doughnuts. That crisped topping is fantastic. Put some milk on it, you will love it. Heres our baked doughnut. You want to cool it a bit. And then, just dop it dop it, a technical term. And worst is, i know what youre talking about. Bottom down into the glaze. While the glaze is soft and wet, you can sprinkle on the topping. Are you a glazed but no glaze .
