The wedding band seen here with her engagement ring, given to her by her late husband leo 60 years ago as son doug tells cbs is 2 news. But i know it was very to be special she never took it off. In the middle of the night as the elderly patients condition faded someone took the cherished wedding band off her finger, just before family members raced to the hospital. When he came back, the ring was missing. A few hours later Pauline Twohig died. Her family grieving and sickened. I think that its pretty sad that somebody could actually do that to a person in her final hours. The hospital says it is working with the nypd regarding the possible theft of her ring.
