Reporter investigators here at the Massillon Fire Department are working to department a cause. They expect to being back be back out on scene this morning. The woman who died dialed 911, around 10 30 last night and came in as an unknown medical call. Arrived five minutes later to the home in the 12,000 block of huron road, they found fire. The First Responders spotted the 52yearold right near the front door. They were able to pull her out but it was too late and the assistant chief said the coroner had the woman transported to the Emergency Medical Center and to see if there were high levels of blood. If that was the case, it could be that she died of smoke inhalation. And this is the second major fire in massillon in just two days. Live in massillon, Sarah Phinney, newschannel 5. And sarah, another fire breaking overnight from the live desk here and this is at the joan apartments on west 10 5th streets in cleveland here. It was a third floor apartment. The building evacuated and the first crews on scene, they called for a second alarm because of the intensity that they saw. The flames that they did later discover was a chair next to a window.
