Kristin, police are now saying 19yearold is behind this whole thing . His name is brian burns junior. He is a cleveland resident facing a slew of charges including aggravated vehicular homicide. But the bizarre part of this story, we spoke to a number of people at the scene saturday night who say that suspect was taken away by ambulance due to his injuries. So the mystery remains as to what happened between then and now. It sounded like a nuclear bomb had went off. Thats how loud it was. It was something you see in a movie, like fast and furious. Reporter heather snapped these photos as she tells me she stayed by this womans side until help arrived. Shirley Duncan Barnes was behind the wheel of her car when it rammed into this building. The suspects car, which was reportedly stolen, sat mangled in the middle of lee road. These pictures are the aftermath of a horrific car crash that mother of two who had just lost her husband two months ago. Heather tells me the driver was going about 95 Miles Per Hour just seconds before he crashed into shirley. That crash happened as shirleys family says she was heading home from her high school reunion, an event she was nervous to attend as her family tells me she was still struggling with the death of her husband. She thought that would give her a chance to get out and get back to life again, which we were glad she did. Happen. But the Good Samaritans on board said they did nothing special. I dont think we were heroes. We were in the right place at the right time for those people. A man trapped inside his burning car saved by a group of Good Samaritans. Some of the drama was caught on tape. Take a look at this. The wreck happened in houston over the weekend. This car hit a utility pole and took out a stop sign before flipping over. 20 people saw the wreck happen and ran over to help the driver who was trapped inside of the vehicle right here. Now, they tried to douse flames, break windows, and rock the car back over to free him. We were trying to take turns, trying to get him out with all the glass everywhere and the heat and the smoke. It was kind of hard to see him. It was a really amazing experience that all the houston people got together trying to help this family. And i think that is a wonderful thing.
