A law firm in new york filed a lawsuit stating a long case that despite repeated claims to ensure safety that the Ride Sharing Service fails on those measures, stating, quote, opening the uber app and saying the pickup location has proven to be the modern day equivalent of electronic hitchhiking. Buyer beware, we all know how those horror movies end and also accusing uber of the following, saying ubers negligence, fraud, misleading statements and other unlawful action cause plaintiffs Sexual Assault which humiliated, violated and robbed plaintiffs of their dignity. The second case involves a similar situation involving another woman that was assaulted by a driver in charleston, South Carolina back in august. The lawsuit asking uber to make changes including implementing a full Service Customer support center give background checks and put tamper proof video cameras in cars and being able to request a female uber driver. Uber released a statement in the last 10 minutes telling them that drivers involved no longer work for the company.
