Just a gorgeous shot this is our fox 25 photo of the day. We love to see your picture. You can instagram and hashtag us and perhaps maybe one of your pictures will be featured. But during 6 30 this morning its in the 40s in boston. It was chilly but it was in the 30s in some places parts of New Hampshire and yes, the top Mount Washington it was a lovely 22 degrees and take a look at what it was like out for conditions. They had rhyme out there. Thats when you have ice that forms from water droplets that instantly freeze from freezing fog. Hey, two thumbs soup theyre pretty excited for that winter season. Sure enough its 25 degrees there right now while this boston were back into the 40s. So our temperatures are have freeze warnings in place for parts of Northern New England and frost advisories as we head into southern new england. We tip ecly get frost advisories when we first get that first big chill of the season and thats for those people who have agricultural interests. They want to make sure that you take take care of your sensitive plants. Bring them in and recover them because this is the area this area shaded in blue where we have the potential of seeing some scattered frosts outside there because temperatures will be falling back into the 30s. So that includes central and into vermont and New Hampshire. But also, along 495 southwest of boston, away from the coast, you know that typical cool pocket where we saw temperatures this morning in the 30s. We have another chance overnight tonight. This is our expected lows when you wake up 40s and 30s because weve got clear skies and very light winds. With that energy that we saw from the day goes right back up into the atmosphere. We call that radiational cooling and sure enough temperature also hit rock bottom for what they can. Head to church and school it will be chilly out there. Temperatures in the 30s and 40s with lots of sunshine so you need those sunglasses. By the afternoon well see the temperatures climbing nicely into the 60s. Its going to be a beautiful fall day. Dry and mostly sunny. So at least the second half of the day not so bad. I think we can handle it. Those winds will be out of the north turning towards the southeast. So along the coast a little bit cooler. And that southerly wind direction will actually bring temperatures up a bit as we head into tuesday. The risk of some showers. This is the cold front that im tracking thats going to be pushing eastward. But until then High Pressure keeping us dry and frosty to start for your monday. It will provide us with dry and bright conditions for monday. Now monday night the clouds thicken up. Notice after midnight here we go. We have some showers moving on in out to the west. Those showers will continue to push eastward toward the coast during the morning commute on tuesday. So tuesday is the day that you are going to have to be prepared for some slow scattered showers perhaps a few downpours and even a few rumbles of thunder. As we go through the morning the showers will push to the east still allowing for some wet weather for our eastern areas in the day then well see some clearing. But the pattern looks to change there after. Take a look at the sevenday forecast. Because what were going to be watching is just how far south this front gets. Were going to also have a low pressure to the west. While we could see dry times we also have the chance of some showers. The temperatures will upper 60s through the week. Thats your forecast.
