Tonights big story an oconomowoc man returns home to find his sister dead now police are looking into who killed the 34yearold woman. We do kno whoever is responsible. For the first time in 24 hours at the river Place Apartments on wisconsin avenue west of town, it appears like things are getting back to normal. However as we try to get closer we were told we must leave. While no longer on scene, Oconomowoc Police say a Homicide Investigation here is still very active. Last night we were notified by a Family Member that he had arrived home, to the apartment that he shares with his sister and that Oconomowoc Police chief david beguhn says a 34 year old female is dead. No one is in custody. And were trying to back track the last two days of her life, and figure out who was with her and where she was. This may be a sleepy town it is extremely rare and and is usually someone who knows somebody. But Violent Crimes are not unheard of. In may of 2015, Stanley Van Wagner home. 9 months later his wife Amy Van Wagner was arrested and charged. Her case still pending. For this crime police are hopeful an arrest wont take that long. Those fences went up in early august after an officerinvolved shooting led to unrest in the neighborhood. County executive chris abele ordered the fences taken down sunday morning. Milwaukee county sheriff david clarke had them put back up hours later. Sunday evening a judge issued a restraining order against clarke saying the fence must come down. The restraining order lasts until tomorrows afternoons hearin determine what comes next. A man accused of looting during the unrest in sherman park appearing in court today. Police say 17yearold Darius Saxton was at the Oreilly Auto Parts store, metro pcs and jet beauty. According to Court Documents saxton says he only took lingerie. He faces three counts of burglary. About a week ago rhonda and jerry stoney were celebrating their anniversary at the big h campground when they spotted the beagle in the river. They were outside the cabin when the dog came up to them wet and hungry. They think she must have fallen out of a boat or gotten swept away. Shes been taken in the stoneys say is fitting. Rhonda stoney rescued dog the night that she came in it was our wedding anniversary so we thought that was cute to name her annie for anniversary and it kind of fit the whole orphan annie too. Well before the first paper is written or test is taken, the freshest faces at Carroll University are already hard at work. its a great kind of bonding experience for everybody. the annual freshman day of Service First year students to get out and give back to the area theyll call home for the next four years. its kind of like an icebreaker to do something as a group as well, but also help the community. about 700 carroll freshmen split up into thirty different nonprofits and businesses in waukesha and milwaukee. We found one group at the Waukesha Community arts project, helping staff prepare for its new year. theyre helping us tackle big projects that really wouldnt be able to be done without a group this independent living facility for lowincome seniors, another crew tackled part of a dining room remodel project. when we get volunteers that can come in here and help us it helps our budget, it helps our staffing. We get a lot of work done that would normally take us a very, very long time to finish. and while spending the day giving back to the community, the students also gain something in return. i feel like doing projects like this really helps build friendships and get to know the class really well. it definitely calms down the nerves bunch of people already moving into class.
