Ending in another wild police chased. Officers zeroed in on a gray car with three or four men inside, all suspected in violent robberies. Shacharnese milton was an active resident, a reporter, and she concentrated on issues focused around the river. We are asking the public if they were in or around the 2700 block of good hope road to immediately call the police with any information that may lead to the capture of the killer of charnese milton. The chief of police is here to provide Additional Details about the shooting and the investigation at this point. She is also joined by the detective that is leading the investigation into this homicide. Is very frustrating for Police Whenever we lose a life. We work really hard to make sure that people are safe. Nothing is more frustrating for us than a case like this. Two things about this case. One is that she was a wonderful human being and was doing last night which he did every day. She was combining a love of her work with the love for her community and the betterment of the residents that live east of the river and her family. She was on her way home. She was so thoughtful. She would always let her mom know she was on her way home that she would not worry. She had to transfer buses on good hope road. She got off one bus and was walking to another bus and unfortunately charnice was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A person who should know will talk about was trying to shoot at a different person and strikes charnice. Wrong place wrong time. Certainly not the intended victim, not that any victim is the right victim. Here is a woman who is dedicated her life to her community, her family, her church, and the second most frustrating thing is that i know there are people out there on the street that saw things that they can share with us. If you are scared and want to remain anonymous, then remain anonymous. But we need closure in this case for this family, for the community.
