And the area impacted by this break, extended as far west as loch raven boulevard. And as far south as northern parkway. Heres how it looked today. Trying to restore water pressure and Water Service. Residential Water Service has been restored. However, some businesses remain without water, or with low water pressure. At the top of your screen, you can see the new piece of pipe that is getting ready to go in. And the a 12inch main that runs through hare. We were looking around at splft businesses in this area. Theres a Grocery Store on this road. And they are open. There are some restaurants here, however, with empty parking lots. Police say this woman hit a 62yearold man while he was walking in that parking lot in the 8400 block of fort smallwood road in pasadena. The driver sped off after the accident. Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call Anne Arundel County police. A near collision puts hundreds of passengers at risk for jumbo jets. Thanks to the quick thinking of air Traffic Controllers, everyone is safe. Now, both 747s were over scotland, about to cross the atlantic. One climbed to the cruising altitude, which put them on a path to collide. Air Traffic Controller told them to immediately turn in opposite directions. But the pilots missed and turned toward each other. The plane came within three miles of each other, when they got emergency orders to change directions, avoiding a potential disaster. Kai . Fire and police in colorado are looking for an arsonist. This is one of four suspicious fires in denver overnight. A twoalarm fire engulfed a car port and destroyed nine vehicles. Police in greece still are searching for the biological parents of the little girl, found in a gypsy settlement. A u. S. Family is amongst several others who think that the child known as maria could be their daughter. Alphonso van marsh has the latest for wjz. A greek Childrens Charity says it has identified eight missing children from around the world who could be the girl known as maria. The smile the Child Charity has been caring for maria, since Police Arrested and charged a man and woman with kidnapping her. A kansas city couple says maria strongly resembles their daughter, lisa irwin, who was taken during a Home Invasion in 2011. Theyve contacted greek authorities with an image of how lisa may look today. However, lisa would only be about 3 years old now. The Greek Charity says maria is closer to 5 or 6. A greek Prosecutor Says a child psychiatrist and language translator will speak with maria to learn more about where shes from. Police said they became suspicious because maria looked nothing like the people in the community, also known as gypsy, where police found her. This woman says the public is prejudging their community. She said, here in greece, there are rumors that we steal kids and send them to beg on the streets. They admitted they adopted her illegally, but denied child trafficking. Some say their kids skip class because they fear authorities will come take them away. Pulitzer prizewinning journalist. Two of Ariel Castros victims say their true and accurate story will help them to heal. They will be interviewed by mary jordan of the washington post. The third victim, michelle knight, did not participate in the book, but will be on the dr. Phil show next month. Ariel castro, who was serving life in prison, hanged himself last month. But in the chip thats gone viral, you can see curt in the chaos, when he suddenly gets pulled back. A blond woman lunges at him, and he throws a punch. She punched my son three times to the head. Cut his eyebrows. Guys should never hit a girl, i understand that. But you know what . When the girls are out of control, how do you defend yourself . Reporter curt pashkey was interviewed after the fight, as were the others involved. Initially, he was told no charges would be filed. But now, new Jersey State Police will only say that theyre investigating. Reporter pashski has a criminal history. In 2011, he was caught serving alcohol to minors while bartending. In the 1990s, he served 2 1 2 years in prison for fatally stabbing a teenager. But his mother said he was wrongly convicted. It happened many years ago, when my son was only 17. He was set up by a White Supremacy group. And unfortunately, he ended up taking the blame for the subbing of another youth. Reporter a mother hopes her sons name will be cleared in this incident. Reporter new Jersey State Police are investigating the incident. Passengers on a delta flight from atlanta to seattle, finally get to their destination. The plane had to make an Emergency Landing late glaft night, after heat sensors went off in the planes cargo session. The plane landed in pasco, washington as a precaution. Las vegas Police Released new information on the shooting inside the balis hotel and casino. 41yearold Benjamin Frazier is charged with killing a patron and wounding two security officers. Investigators say frazier got into a physical fight with security early monday morning. Witnesses say he started shooting when he was denied the return of his cover charge. The man killed was a patron trying to help security get the men under control. Potentially deadly mosquito has made its way to the u. S. That front moved to the east of us, with just a few sprinkles, for those clouds. Tomorrow, the winds go back to the north. It will bring in chillier air. Chance of a little rain and it clears out, generally for the afternoon. Thursday and friday. Sunny to partly sunny skies. But cooler than normal temperatures. Generally, 8 or 9 to 10 degrees cooler than average. That means low to mid50s to low to mid60s. At least it will be drying out. North winds on the bay. Reporter this is the scene in the 400 block of abbot court in east baltimore. A shooting in this neighborhood, an adult female shot. Homicide has been call. Theyre on the scene investigating.
