When she looked up and saw a mans face in her bedroom window. Police say they got the call around 10 00 last night at a home located in the audubon park neighborhood just north of Fashion Square mall. The suspect in this case is dominique brace. He is 22 years old. Orlando police say he was right in front of a teenagers window there last night when they got there. He had his cell phone up like he was taking pictures or video of the teenager. He ran off, dodging fences and breaking a few of them. He was finally arrested and charged with burglary and voyeurism. This afternoon, police say a drunk driver is to blame for we just got his mugshot. Now were waiting to hear when Juan Carlos Torres will face an Orange County judge. He was arrested in the crash that happened along sand lake road and i4. Torres was driving a White Toyota Corolla and ran a red light before hitting the rear of the troopers suv. No one was hurt. A pedicab driver accused of raping a customer has been found not guilty. George branard now says hes working to forgive the woman who made the claims two years ago. We spoke to branard and his Family Moments after the verdict was read. They said justice has prevailed and they were thankful. It took the jury 30 minutes to make their decision. Troy campbell has more from volusia county. Its been almost two years since george branard was first arrested, accused of raping that woman. Today he walked out of this courthouse a free man after a jury ruled hes innocent. Were very thankful for the Justice System we have and god after days of testimony, both the alleged victim and george branard taking the stands themselves, recalling back to that night of february 2014. Branard, facing up to 15 years behind bars, not guilty, after a woman claimed he picked her up near the Daytona International speedway on his pedicab, accusing branard of taking her into the woods and forcing sex. Another pedicab driver finding the woman screaming in the woods. On the stand branard told the jury it was the alleged victim who forced herself on him. His attorneys are very pleased with todays verdict. Were very happy with what the jury found. They saw the truth. Were very thankful for the attention they put toward this. Investigators say from the beginning branard admitted to having sex with the victim and he said she initiated the sexual activity, unbuckling his belt as there was consensual sex and then it turned into Something Else he never expected. With fridays not guilty verdict, branard says hes working to forgive the woman. Its possible only she knows. I have no idea. It could be her family, her fiance. No one should go through not being found. The family of Jennifer Kesse says they get tips on a regular basis as to where their daughter might be, but so far, nothing has panned out. The same story theyve gotten for the last decade. Someone saw something. And its just its so past the hope that i have. The then 24yearold hasnt been heard from since january 23rd, 2006. Detectives believe she left for work the next morning, but she never showed up. Her car, a chevy malibu, was found later at a condo complex a mile away from hers. It is someone in the public that makes that call that enables the people in Law Enforcement behind us to do what they do best and truly find jennifer. The Orlando Police department hoped this surveillance image of a person of interest would help create leads but that person has yet to be identified. Kesses father has this message for whoever abducted his daughter. Whatever reason you may have had 10 years ago to take a human being, which just cannot even come into our minds, we cant even think of that, your usefulness for what you took her for, it has to be done. Right now, a gunman wanted in a late night shooting near ucf. Breaking news this morning, the victim shot at the marquee complex is expected to be okay. Were also working to get results surrounding the security concerns at the site, right across the street from campus. News 6 mark lehman has the story. For those here at the marquee apartments, the sight of crime scene tape behind me was unsettling but something theyve seen before. With safety now top of mind, students spoke to us about the complex which has seen its share of recent troubles. Really . Yeah. This is the first time im hearing about it. That was the reaction from Daniel Harris and others at the marquee apartments, the details from a shooting last night were left undisclosed to those living footsteps away. But many admit the scene is a familiar one for the troubled Community Near ucf. Formally known as sterling central, the complex changed its name after four armed robberies in a few months time and enough security. More patrols, more cameras, and security gate being added, changes that seem to be working, at least noticeably for students. Does that make you feel safe . Yeah, it better. Crime hasnt gone down. That is, until just last month. Thats when several students here were robbed at gunpoint inside their apartment. Cant really prevent all crime. When i spoke with apartment management last month, they said they were in the process of installing more than 500 security cameras here at this complex. A spokesperson for the marquee released this statement saying, quote, were in the process of pulling camera footage. Whatever is found will be immediately turned over to Law Enforcement authorities and become part of their investigation. Two officers at the garage entrances during their normal duties when they heard gunshots. In regard to the 500 cameras around the property, the Management Team says most of the interior building cameras are up and working. The property is about 75 done with installation.
