Sources tell news 4 that shane beharie, his girlfriend, amanda, and two boys were found with apparent gunshot wounds. Firefighters rushed to the home to battle a twoalarm fire to find signs the fire appears to have been started in multiple parts of the home. We are not ruling out the potential there was a homicide and then an ultimate suicide. Neighbors say they heard the parents, shane and amanda, in heated arguments over the past week, but police say they have no record of Domestic Violence history with the family. The cause of death for each victim is still being investigated. Nypd officers are again being warned to remain vigilant for their own safety. A recent spade of shootings at Police Officers prompted this warning. Closer to home, a tangible reminder of officers lost here. Reporter the Police Commissioner again calling out officers and community to see one another, to work together. But added security measures continue amid those shootings of officers in texas and illinois. At station houses across the city, more security upgrades coming. What it gives us is the ability to reach the high elevations. As these towers grow taller, well outgrow the reach of the cranes weve had onsite. Reporter this new phase of construction includes assembling the bridges main span towers. You can see that here in this animation. The work requires 45 cranes, 190 vessels, and more than 1,000 workers. The team here didnt want any surprises for this phase. So what they did was a practice run, a full mockup on dry land. The mockup gave us a chance for the contractor to develop methods to place the concrete and ensuring it has proper consolidation. Reporter so speed up the installation process, these floating barges have equipment on them to make and pour concrete right on the spot. Get this, it would take 20,000 trucks loaded with concrete to complete a job like that. Now its a good feeling. Reporter and look at whats called a super crane, hoisting up a steel girder section which will turn into the road you and more than 100,000 drivers will cross every day. The bridge is more than halfway done. The state says its on schedule and on budget. Well work through the summer of 2016 before we reach the towers. Yes.
