The night was big for both democrat and republican front runners, donald trump walk add way with three states and john kasich won his home state of ohio and senator ted cruz picked up 41 delegates. Hillary clinton earned four states and picked up 339 delegates and Bernie Sanders picked up 329 and missouri is still too close to call in the democratic and republican races. And now donald trump is focusing his attention on hillary clinton, he released a new online ad saying clinton is unfit to be president and as far as his own campaign a lot of his success is owed to record turnout. There is buzz for what is known as a contested republican election. That means that any candidate could be put forth as the nominee with enough delegates to lock up the nomination. The convention then becomes known as what is known as brokered. That is when states can release delegates to vote for whom ever they want and the rules can change at the start of the convenience, they are established by the republican party. The last time there was a brokered convention was 1976, gerald ford and Ronald Reagan were vying for the nomination and neither had enough delegates, in the end ford won the nomination and was beaten in the general election by jimmy carter. Hillary clinton had a good tuesday and won four of the five democratic primaries and she is shifting her focus from her challenger Bernie Sanders to the frontrunner donald trump.
