Breaking this morning Emergency Responders used the jaws of life to free a driver who crashed his suv in a philadelphia neighborhood after being shot. Police say the 47yearold man was shot at green and manheim streets in the citys germantown section. The man took off and was headed towards Temple University hospital where he crashed head on into a parked tractortrailer at germantown avenue and pike street. He was rushed to the hospital in Critical Condition. M. New this morning, another driver crashed in front of aria Frankford Hospital trying to get help for a shooting victim. Philadelphia police are holding the suv as evidence. They found one shell casing inside. The driver had come from the 4900 block of dar rail street. Just before midnight someone shot a 31yearold man and also struck a woman in the leg. The 24yearold female after she was shot in the leg she ran about two blocks to aria Frankford Hospital. We followed a trail of blood which led to the hospital. There have not been any arrests. Police found money and pills at the shooting scene and believe the motive could be drugs. Detectives are questioning the driver of the suv. Police are looking for the gunman who shot a man in the stomach and robbed him of his bike in southwest philadelphia. It happened around 5 20 yesterday evening other 5700 block of warrington avenue. The 20yearold victim is in Critical Condition at penn presbyterian hospital. The suspect is described as being 18 to 24 years old wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The search continues for the man who slashed two people just minutes apart in Center City Yesterday morning. One of the victims is talking about the attack. Jurors will continue deliberating today in the manslaughter trial of a Baltimore Police officer charged in the death of freddie gray. The boeing 737 had just landed from houston and was taxiing to the arrival gate when you see there it rolled off the runway onto the grass and got stuck. 133 passengers and five crew members safely evacuated.
