Heeat. He is. He is really great. 1yearold jason smith is recovering nicely this afternoon. His mother jasmine says that these three Philadelphia Policemen are the ones that saved his life. Jason was experiencing serious respiratory problems at the family home in north philadelphia and he was hospitalized a week ago for wheezing and choking yesterday he went limp and fell unconscious. He was completely unresponsive. Something i would not wish on my worst enemy, to see their child like that. It was the worst thing i have ever witnessed. The officers responded to the 911 call. The father was holding his arms and he was dangling and we stepped in the house and started cpr. I grab rescue breathing while trying to resuscitate the child and they were monitoring pulse. The officer performed cpr for 10 minutes before the doctors took over. Jason is fine and on the men. Today they visited him bringing him a truck and teddy bear. Am glad we were there, if we had no oo rived when we did. Yest is their job but you dont see officers going above and beyond like they elyindebted to them. They really saved my son. And there is more the officers stayed here in the er for a bit to make sure that jason would be okay and then officer elliot went back to the smiths home to check on his father, the boys father and his three older sisters to make sure they were okay as well.
