Two vehicles collided on the boulevard leaving two people dead and one driver with serious injuries. Katherine scott is live along the boulevard in feltonville and where this happened this morning. Theres a traffic light at the intersection, right now police dont know who had the rightofway, both of the drivers survived, two teenagers who are riding in one of the vehicles died in this accident. You can see the road in feltonville has opened back up after it was closed for hours overnight at front an roosevelt boulevard. Heres what it looked like after the accident. It happened around 12 30 a. M. You can see the wreckage. The hyundai and ford suv with front end damage, air bags deployed. The 54yearold driver of the ford suv does have injuries, but is stable. In the hyundai was 18yearold driver who is stable, his 19yearold brother and their 17yearold friend, the 19yearold brother was pronounced at the hospital. The 17yearold girl was pronounced on the scene. The ford suv had been going north on front street. The hyundai was traveling west in the outer lanes of the boulevard. The front end of the ford struck the drivers side of the hyundai causing the passenger side of the hyundai to crash into a light pole. We know that the 17yearold female was sitting in the rear seat when medics found her, and it appears that that, where she was sitting is where the vehicle struck the light pole and it appears she had head trauma and broken neck. And police are looking for Surveillance Footage to see if theres anything that can help in the investigation and they are interviewing both of the drivers. Katherine Scott Channel 6 action news. Officials shut down the center lanes of i295 in Burlington County for hours where a pedestrian was struck and killed overnight. It happened after midnight. This is video from a traffic camera. A 17yearold is dead after Staff Members tried to subdue the teen after an altercation. Philadelphia Police Including homicide detectives spent several hours interviewing staff last night. Apparently the altercation centered around the teen having an Electronic Device he was not supposed to have either an ipad or ipod. Three Staff Members responded and the teen was put in a head lock the 17yearold was pronounced dead inside the facility. It is nonprofit private organization providing residential treatment and special education along with inhome programs helping children overcome behav behavioral and academic issues. The 17yearold has not been identified, but according to sources, the 17yearold is not from philadelphia, he is from central pennsylvania.
