This afternoon it will be windy blustery and still on the chilly side. As we head to school kids were halfway there. Around lunchtime youre halfway there. You know what i mean. 42 degrees on the Storm Tracker 6 app on your smartphone. 39 by 8 oclock and by noon up to 41. Again your high today is going to be that 42. I think well hit that probably around 2 oclock and then by 3 oclock back down to 41 and by 6 oclock, 37 degrees back into the 30s. Looks like a couple of breezy days, a little more precip on the way over the next 48 hours matt and then things get better for the weekend. Details coming from accuweather. Halfway there. We like that. Good progress. I think progress is going to be relatively quick at least quicker than yesterday on your way into work this morning. The roads are drying out, the traffic is light so far. This is a live look at the vine street expressway where all is fine on the vine as you head eastbound toward 95. No problems so far this morning. On 95 itself and the schuylkill things are looking good. There was a crash overnight involving a vehicle into a building in upper darby. Marshall road westbound is whats affected just west of friends cemetery. I think i would stay on market or walnut streets instead of Marshall Road this morning and balligomingo road still closed in West Conshohocken because of that mudslide after the weather yesterday. Shut down between jones road and 23, front street. 320 or matsonford road are alternates around that. No issues so far this morning on the pennsylvania turnpike or the blue route. But over in Greenwich TownshipGloucester County a new broken down truck along 295 northbound at swedesboro roadblocking the acceleration lane there but you can get by at this point. Storm tracker 6 live double scan this morning shows you were dry for a change which is nice after yesterday. As we take a look outside we have sky 6 looking down at the airport and the parking lot there in the four ground looks dry. We had a lot of wind overnight, very little precipitation so your roads are in pretty good shape. Temperature 42 degrees. It is on the cool side particularly when you factor in the wind at 16 Miles Per Hour. Were going to get another blustery wind today probably gusts up to 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour so despite the fact that temperatures are in the low 40s its a bundler for the most part. 16 Miles Per Hour wind in philadelphia, 18 allentown, 16 wilmington, 10 at the airport in Atlantic City. Everybody dealing with a bit of a breeze this morning. Future tracker 6 shows you how well probably see some sunshine early and then as we get up to lunchtime the clouds start to get a little thicker and wrapping down out of the north there is the possibility of a rain or even a snow shower. Most of the snow will be up in the poconos initially and then later this afternoon its possible that the air is cool enough where we start to get some light snow showers in south of allentown and reading and maybe in a little bit closer to the i95 corridor. This doesnt look like a real big deal but if you get caught in one of these and you start to see anything sticking to the roads slow down just in case. Not expecting this to have a wide ranging impact or much of an impact for most of you. By 10 oclock tonight its possible this is dying down a bit but you can also check out Melissa Magee and cecily tynan beginning at 10 oclock on channel 17 or here at 6abc at 11 00 for the latest on that. 39 degrees by 8 oclock today, 41 by 11 oclock. Im going to go with a high of 42 around 2 oclock. Then well slip back into the upper 30s by 5 oclock. Cooler than that up north where those snow showers may be forming. High temperatures across the region only 39 trees in allentown, similar conditions in philadelphia. Actually thats a 42 in philadelphia and then down toward the shore, 46 in cape may. Little bit milder at the shore today. Tomorrow starting at 4 30 when were on the air theres going to be snow in the poconos, maybe a snow shower trying to dig down closer to the Lehigh Valley later in the morning. By 9 oclock, could see a couple of these during the morning rush hour. Again, it doesnt look like its going to have major impact but you slow down just in case and of course well be on the air to let you know what that looks like and then by 3 oclock in the afternoon a rain shower down by philadelphia, another snow shower possible up north and later in the evening it all kind of pinwheels out of here. So tomorrow more rain and snow showers, the snow showers mainly up in the poconos and perhaps down toward the Lehigh Valley for a time. Windy with a shower today, 42 degrees is your high. The farther north you go the better chance you have of seeing a little snowflake here or there. And then tomorrow breezy with a couple of rain or snow showers around and a high of just 39 degrees. Its going to be breezy again tomorrow and then friday clouds and sun, still on the breezy side and a high of 42. We get into the weekend and we inch back up to 44 on saturday, partly sunny. Im hoping it isnt quite as brisk and then sunday mostly sunny and 46 degrees. More seasonable for your high. It will be chilly for the eagles game. I could see us getting down any other upper 30s so bundle up if youre head to the game. Monday still bright 48 and hanukkah arrives on tuesday, 48 degrees. That monday is looking good to me for maybe putting up some christmas lights. Okay. cause its a little milder, right. Ill be right over. [laughter] thanks, matt. Stand inside and hand you 5 39. One problem that we have in West Conshohocken as a result of a mudslide yesterday. Still closing off balligomingo road between jones road and 23. You can use 320 or maybe matsonford road to get around that. Broken down truck in Greenwich TownshipGloucester County is now gone along 295 northbound all lanes opened, no issues there, speeds in the mid 60s. Commodore barry bridge looks fine headed over towards Delaware County. In delaware New Castle County little clarification am i did some digging to get details on exactly whats closed. Its the ramp from the southbound lanes of 95 to 202 southbound. Closed through tuesday. So, theyre saying you can go to 202 northbound thin flip around. I think the easier thing will be to exit at marsh road, take that down to 13 or keep going down to Delaware Avenue and then run that over to 13 instead. That ramp again 95 south on the 202 southbound shut down through tuesday. Time for the commuter report. Lets go into Delaware County one of our friends using the waze app talking about a vehicle broke down on the shoulder along the blue route 476 southbound side us a travel there toward the route 1 media bypass but its off to the side so no big delays at this point.
