Were told that dodge was going northbound on indian head highway when it collided with that mercedes. That actually triggered a fire to that dodge. The driver was hospitalized for their injuries. The driver of that mercedes suffered nonlife threthreaten issues and the crash is now under investigation. Cars are not allowed to make a left turn southbound on to livingston, nor can currents on livingston turn on to north indian head highway. This crash has been under investigation for some time. At this upon the, two people are involved. We are told both were hospitalized. One, that mercedes drivers suffering nonlife threatening issues. No word on the condition of that driver. Back to you. C. , 200 salt trucks will hit the streets to coat the roads with salt. This afternoon mayor Muriel Bowser will talk about d. C. s snow plan heading into tomorrow. Vdot has already started implementing its snow plan. Trucks started laying down brine already this weekend. If you live in an area where this storm will begin as rain, crews have not pretreated your roads yet. They will lay down that salt once the changeover happens to snow. Vdot is asking people who dont have to be on the roads today or normal to stay home. One to two inches of snow could fall every hour once the storm begins tonight. Montgomery county bracing for some of the most snow in the area. Meteorologists say 6 to 12 inches could fall in that area. County executive ike leggett tells clear. We have a plan.
