You can see its on the westbound side after the beltway so heading away from the beltway youll hit that bit more than we typically see on the we believed side. Eastbound side toward the beltway flowing but is it a steady slow pace because of congestion. Well take quick look at our maps. Southbound 295 from 410 to pennsylvania avenue were seeing some really slow traffic. Average speeds 12 Miles Per Hour so if from Riverdale Park as you cross 50 youre going to have that slow down 11th Street Bridge inbound heavy as usual. 50 inbound through chevey and Riverdale Park also s. New york avenue slows by bladensburg road and this is the look at 66 eastbound so you can get some idea of the delays. Down to 8 Miles Per Hour as you get into manassas. Things pick up in fairfax. This book which is pretty interesting a series of essays and its men and women across this country who never in their wildest dreams thought that they would ever get involved politically or become an activist, and they find their voices are being herd out there, you know, even the smallest thing you get involved in your childs school, whateve it is, and theyre making a difference and this people. First of all coming up on the first 100 days in office for this president. How is he doing so far . Whats your take on things. What do you think sonya . Really hes exceeded my expectations in many ways. For me, deregulation is a huge issue. So hes working on deregulation, and im a little disappointed in the Health Care Bill not being repealed yet but hopefully. But i lining that he is showing the world that america is in charge. And that were not going to, um, sit around and take these bad guys running over us. I think a lot over the past few years people have been able to take advantage of our, um, lack of strength or at least the what was your take on one of the knocks recently has been polls that are showing the number of people who really feel that the president has kept his promises so far. That starting to slip a little bit over the last month or so. What can he do now to make sure that he not just keeps the base that hes always had, but bring more people on board and bring people together. Hes got to do what he said he was going to do he has to because thats what propelled him into office. He has got to stay strong and hes got to do it. I mean bottom line, you know, well keep his feet to the fire. Trust me. If we see things that are out of line, were going to make noise about it, because we have to have things done. We have i think the Supreme Court justice that was a great start. Gorsuch was great start. So, you know what, were just were just going to hang in there. I mean, thats all we can do right now. Were not hypocrites. We criticized eight years of barack obama. Were just as critical of any politician. Exactly. Exactly. We are politician donald trump started as businessman but hes officially a full on politician now. He doesnt get a pass. No. No, no, no, no. And all the people around him, too f we start seeing things that look a little dicey, well Say Something good what do you think is the key obviously here in washington you always hear no matter who is Running Congress new york city matter who is in the white house, its always a call for unity always a call for people to come together. I know. It doesnt matter who is running the show that call is always there and people dont always seem to come together. What do you think, where do you think that Common Ground can be found . You know, something, this country we have we have a basic goal. We all want to make this country great. We do. Democrat, liberal, conservative, whatever, i think thats the Common Ground and were losing it. Were losing it with all the inn fighting and all of the div divisiveness. I think thats whats happening. And i hate to see that happen because really this so great and so amazing. That i think everybody wants that. Before we lose our time, i want to talk about the book quickly. Isnt theres a lot of shame attached to mental illness. You feel like something is wrong with you, and in my life i go look at all these beautiful wonderful things that i have and i should be happy but you can help it in the morning when you wake up you are so tired. You are so sad. You are so full of anxiety and the shakes that you can barely think. For me, the little bit that is ive learned so far about Mental Health is very much the case with, you know, its really important to have conversation you wont be judged so important to break open that fear. The duke of cambridge and lady gaga joining forces to encourage people to talk about Mental Health. Someone from suffered from anxiety all my life ive had this idea not to wanting to speak about it or embarrassment to talk about. Im its interesting theyre ccoming out and saying it needs to be discussed you shouldnt be shamed if youre dealing with that. Krysten bell is big advocate from frozen.
