Reporter good morning, guys. Yeah, so the coach was arrested at that soccer field where he has coached young kids for many, many years. The arrest of 47yearold Miguel Flores head soccer co has come as a surprise. He was fun. He liked to make kids laugh and like make us play better in soccer and stuff t theres other people like watching and stuff like. I dont know. I am in shock that i hear about his being arrested yesterday. Really sad, really sad. Seven years old. Reporter the alleged sex offense dates back to july 2015 the victim then seven years old told special victims unit that everything happened during soccer practices that summer. She said while other kids ran laps coach miguel would hug her in the middle of the field and then put his hands under her shirt and on her bare chest. Flores according to charging documents allegedly told the girl to keep quiet or something bad would happen. Right now he is charged with one count of sex offense and one count sex abuse of a minor. Complect ti collectively those two charges could get up to 35 years in prison. Because a year and a half has elapsed close to two years has elapsed since the time of the alleged offense and the time it was reported they are concerned there could be other victims that flores has come in contact with.
